Yeah, it's true. My hardrive fried, and I lost every single thing I've done in the past few years. I didn't back up anything. Hah, I'm so dumb.

Anyways, I'm not gonna come back for a while just to get a new hardrive, and because I'm just going to program for myself most of the time now.

Sorry community, but I'm not gonna be a big helper anymore. I might not come on the forums for a while either.

I just want to program for myself and at least finish my game, which I'll have to restart. I might come on to ask questions, but whatever.

Thanks for everything guys, and cya later. I'm not sure how later though.

Peace,
Mansoor S. (AKA Xenocythe)

Didn't Jeku just get done talking about this?

Well I'm sorry to hear that happened. You will be missed here and I wish you the best of luck with your game.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you will rejoin us some day . Although it seems terrible, losing work isn't always as bad as it seems, because by rewriting it you can actually make it better, learning from your past mistakes (as I've found myself, by losing files and by completely rewriting them by my own choice). Good luck!

That ... isn't good. I think Gokz and I may be screwed in terms of animation then. Well best of luck to you anyways.

Yeah. Sorry Cian. I really wanted to do those for you.

Holy crap! I think it's safe to call the Nvidia competition a cursed competition. Look at all the people who have had computer problems or some outside influence that's causing them to leave the forums for good. This is completely crazy. Sorry to hear your hard drive died. I just barely kept my data after my PSU, GPU, and motherboard fried.

We won't forget you Xenocythe... no matter how long you're gone (don't make it too long though).

Meh ok, drop that last part.

Oh yeah sorry Xenocythe. I hope you at least come back to check in on program announcements and stuff everyone once and a while to see what's being created. I hope you don't stay too much of a stranger. I may suggest taking up another language or two while you're gone, you never know what opportunities may come up.

As a note if anyone is interested Xdrive is free and you can store 5 gig there (any size files). there is an option to have it automatically update HD files to your space as well.

Sorry to see you go Xeno
