In case anyone's interested, I remember one of these threads from last year. Don't think there's one here year.

Mine would be, somewhat in order of awesomeness...

And sadly not the same level of quality but I dearly love the band...

So what're your favorites from 06?

Hmm, well strangely, I'm listening to one of the best albums of 2006 right now, 10,000 days by tool, so here goes.

(Except I've got the weird case with the lenses attached)
Amon Amarth - With Oden on our Side (Who can argue with Viking Metal?)

Pink Punk - Zoo Politics
(Great band, well not a band, more of a political movement, Brian 'Yap' Barry, was the lead singer of One Minute Silence and my sister has his phone number and email address, as she with my brother met him after a gig in London, lucky b*****s, I've also got him on MySpace)
Office of Strategic Influence - Free

omg, I hate rise agianst,
evenescances only good song was bring me to life, but there ok,
BUT afi is awesome... for me i dont really think that 2006 was that great of a year for music, too much rap and hip hop which sucks, i like 2003 and 2004, where punk was sweet and blink 182 wasnt broken up. yeah punk! and these are just my theroys, so if you hate my critisism, dont freak

Downward Spiral, great album. One of NIN's best IMO. But I liked With Teeth as well. I'm really anticipating their next release, which some are saying should see release sometime this year.

Yes, With Teeth was an excellent one as well. I enjoyed Broken + Pretty Hate Machine more than the Fragile personally. They are? That is awesome. Wait...forgot about dragon force, lol!
