Hi FPS Creator community,

today we can offer you the finished school model pack for FPS Creator. The pack contains 19 new entities and 3 floor segments. If you're interested, you'll find more information and a preview pdf file here:

Visit the school model pack page.

The school model pack was created by our user Timmey from http://www.fpscreator.de and got published on our new page http://www.theaddoncreators.com. There you'll find even more media to expand your FPS Creator.

Timmeys homepage: http://www.timrielich.de

We hope you like it.

Tables are way to thick....chairs have an odd proportion. I mean everyone's free to sell what they want...I just wish people left the modeling to people that actually know now to model, like bond or Jon, etc, or got good prior to hitting peoples wallets. These are freebie models at best.
8.99 Euros = 11.975579 U.S. dollars. Hardly worth it in my book for 22(19+3 seg) pieces.

Quote: "FPS Creator Model Pack #3 is now available! This pack contains 526 new assets for your FPS Creator games."

Hmmm...526 for 20$ or 12$ for 22....choices ,choices....

I have this compulsion to make a free school pack all of a sudden.

@Locrian:

"Tables are way to thick"
Why that? Who says tables have to be thin? There are quite a lot of thick tables in school. The tables in this picture are chemistry tables with a thicker plate.

"chairs have an odd proportion"
That's only on this screenshot as they were made on a 1280x800 screen. So screen proportion is not really 4:3.

"I just wish people left the modeling to people that actually know now to model, like bond or Jon..."
So you think others should not do anything? You're free to create the models you want and give them away for free. Soon you'll be able to sell your own MPs and other stuff through our store. I'll post more information about that as soon as the translation is finished.

"These are freebie models at best"
Why does everybody what everything for free? There're quite some hours work in these models and I don't understand what's wrong when somebody want to have at least 40Cents per model? Had a look at pages like TurboSquid? Super Models, even lowpoly ones not under 20-80$.

"Hmmm...526 for 20$ or 12$ for 22....choices ,choices...."
There're quite a lot of people already bought MP3 so why not expand with other things.

"I have this compulsion to make a free school pack all of a sudden."
We all like to get that from you. Thank you.

There to thick...no definition for the table top...even if your attempting some like this:

Your way off.

Keep trying to sell this entry level modeling stuff for 12$ and you'll see the free pack...no prob.

Quote: "That's only on this screenshot as they were made on a 1280x800 screen. So screen proportion is not really 4:3."

Not what I was talking about. The lats for the seat back look like there they're 2x4 sized/the stand is to small/no definition(just boxes with a texture)

Quote: "Why does everybody what everything for free? "
I don't, but this stuff isnt worth selling. Its no more then some boxes and cylinders with a texture. And for a TGC style pack, 22 items for 12$ is outrageous.

No problems with the expanding with other things....but how bout ya learn to model first and not sell some cubes and call it a chair.

Quote: "We all like to get that from you. Thank you."

Not a problem...keep trying to sell this stuff(and I'm really being AUP friendly there), and you'll have a chance to download it just like everyone else. I image 2-3 days(in my spare time) I can do at least 23 of this quality models and segments...

PS:Man it's been so nice with the new forums rules...I haven't posted a sarcastic comment in days. *shakes head* "Oh well"

"There to thick"
No, they look like that, as they have two plates with some space in between.

"The lats for the seat back look like there they're 2x4 sized"
They look ok ingame. He don't want to rebuild "real-world" objects here, never said that. If he would do so, it won't fit to the rest of other FPSC models/segments/entities.

"keep trying to sell this stuff ..."
Sure we'll do. If this is some sort of blackmail then I'll simply ignore you from now on. I don't understand why you're so unfriendly.

"I image 2-3 days(in my spare time) I can do at least 23 of this quality models and segments..."
We really love to see more free models on this forum. Thank you.

You should probably stay on the German side of things....casue obviously ya have not seen me do this before....

I'm not unfriendly...I hate people taking advantage of others. And selling that pack for 12$ is a crime. And it's not black mail partner....Your not the first guy I've ran off these forums selling trash for an inflated price. Those models are garbage...beginner level...which is fine...if your giving stuff away.

So soon as my coffee's done I'll grab a cig and start modelin for ya pumpkin...k?..OK!

Hubdule,
A quote from Locrian:

He'll do it too. He's done it before...you're about to get Loc'ed...lol.

Seriously,though...I don't remember you releasing any free media. It irks me when someone just starts posting stuff for sale when they take no part in the community whatsoever.
That is not the best work I have seen. The pic you have posted is way too small to actually get a good look at the stuff but I can see it well enough to know that just about anybody who knows anything about modeling can put out similar stuff.
And you are charging way too much.I would rather spend my money getting a different pack with either more stuff or some high quality stuff.
To be brutally honest...I am not even sure I would want the stuff if it were free.
Maybe you ought to try giving away some free, high quality media before you go trying to come into the models and media forum and make a quick buck.

locrian, I dont want to find negative messages again from you, regardless of what you may think about some peoples models.

Failure to adhere to a general disposition of clarity with at least some positive aspects to your replies will result in a newb slap.

Im not usually around in the FPSC areas, but as a mod I take a peek every now and then.

Also attempting to persuade a person to go back to another forum is not very healthy for your account in regards to more slappage.

Hubdule, ltns, gday mate.

I don't care about that. If he has too much free time, that's nice.

"Seriously,though...I don't remember you releasing any free media. It irks me when someone just starts posting stuff for sale when they take no part in the community whatsoever."

I don't think you know me long enough. I'm with TGC since the early days in 2000 and I released so many things into the community for free. Some things found fans, some things were totally uninteresting to the users. I'm sorry that I haven't released anything recently as I was busy with darkbasic.de and fpscreator.de. If you don't trust me, I've no problem with that, just ask Lee Bamber about Thomas. A litte bit of history about me could be found here:

As said, there's a preview pdf on the shop page. Soon you'll be able to publish your own stuff through this shop (if you like to). So we're open for everybody who want to contribute something. In the near future we get some more professional looking objects. It's just a start. We also offer other things like the Sky Packs and so on. Not everybody could or want to create their own content. We've a huge list on fpscreator.de which contain free stuff for FPS Creator so you can not say we want to make a quick buck. We're at the beginning and we won't stop soon.

"And you are charging way too much.I would rather spend my money getting a different pack with either more stuff or some high quality stuff."

Sounds ok to me. You don't have to buy something from our page but you can if you like. Maybe one of our new packs interest you more.

"Maybe you ought to try giving away some free, high quality media before you go trying to come into the models and media forum and make a quick buck."

I hope that's not the only way to promote our idea about a centralized addon shop here at this forum. In former times nobody was so harsh when someone showed something new. As soon as you post something here and it is not free, everybody starts to moan. It's ok to give critical statements. I don't have a problem with that as it shows us how to improve for further postings/addons.

P.S. Hi Indi, long time no see Wish you a good day too.

Just my opinion.Nothing personal.I think it would be great if TGC had a classifieds type board where people could buy/sell stuff.
Those kinds of things aren't up to me though.
It's your stuff and you are welcome to sell it...just don't be surprised if that other model pack shows up.
Good luck with whatever you do.

I do think that is a good idea, but it should be part of the FPSC forum section, otherwise it may end up with the same problem as the 3D chat board..... most of us don't visit it, even though potential FPSC models are show there.

As for the models, good initiative, but I do find the models a bit 'rough' or 'simple', especially for the price that's being asked for them. That is my opinion and you can charge whatever you want, it's your good right. The price seems to be in line with the other media you do offer. I understand we cannot all price our models as 'dirt' cheap as I do, since that would take away to much business from me

If your (German) customers pay for it, then go for it I would say, but most around here aren't so generous when it comes to custom non official FPSC model packs.

Vielleicht kannst du meine modellen auch auf deine website verkaufen, da sind vielleicht auch Deutsche kunden der meine modelle gebrauchen können? Du kanns meine modelle auf meine website anschuaen.

Hey my rusty old German typing still makes sense

I'll contact you later today or tomorrow. How many German users are there, I've been wondering about that, since I think there's even a German version of FPSC, or am I incorrect about that?

I cannot say how many FPS Creator users there are at the moment. Here in Germany, the FPS Creator sells quite well, says the publisher and TGC so I think there're quite some users who look for addon content.
