Am I the only one who can't tolerate it? I want to know who thought it would be cool to show star trek at 1/4 the size of my tv and fill the rest of the space with a tacky looking website.

star trek 2.0 is a website / game, based on events with video and a stock market.
It came out about a year ago now. It really is for the harder trekkies.
I heard of it on TechTV (which i think is g4tv now ) when that was around on cable tv in australia.

Yea its on G4, there's no such thing as TechTV anymore. Sure they claim to have merged, but when was the last time you saw the Screensavers or anything worth watching on G4?

I hate the fact that g4 tries to make everything modern and cool, I cant stand what they did to techtv. Not to mention they ruined icons. And the man show!? What is this SpikeTV2!?

I haven't seen it... and apparently I lucked out not seeing it. I got mad a few days ago watching a show that had a rotating moneybag in the upper right corner of the screen. Every time a commercial came on it would be there for 5 minutes constantly rotating. It's almost as if the network didn't want people to watch the show.

It does not annoy me as much as when a movie with alot of subtitles is being broadcast and the station keeps putting stupid ads for new episodes of lame shows over the bottom of the screen so you can't see them.
