I'm trying to figure out how I can get the Humvee to fire rockets at you.

I don't need any type of rocket launcher attached to the HV, in fact, the HV doesn't have to be changed at all because it will be above the player, on a ridge.

All I'm trying to do is have a projectile appear above the HV, then head towards the player. Is that even possible? If so, does anyone have any ideas?

Hide an enemy character armed with a rocket launcher behind the humvee. Be sure to set the collision off the humvee so the rocket doesn't collide with the humvee.

no thats a waste of polys.

the way to do it is turn the HV into a charachter, and make a new weapon especially for him, make the Vweap just a small invisble cube. This won't appear in game. Then add the projectile to that weapon.

now in the editor change his gun to that new weapon.

Then copy the shoot.fpi and the passive.fpi script; and remove out anything to do with animation.

now with the new scripts, and the new weapon on the humvee your set to go.

Hope you understood all that.

just make your humvee into a character, it's easier that way.

I've actually stood a character on top of the HV, that way you can stop the rockets firing by killing the man, check it out in my "The Facility" showcase vid.
