Pretty good fred. I'd place a hexagon dark area on the end of each to represent the socket for the lug.
Is this going to be a new weapon?

So you noticed I am having UV mapping issues?
I never thought of that...I can add a dark primitive to each end and save myself some trouble since it's under 200 polys I can afford a few more.
I haven't decided if I am going to make it a weapon or not.
I just got to thinking that nobody has made one of these yet...as far as I know...
