i have figurd out how to make objects
and load them and how to load sounds and other media
but how do i put them all together.
like what order do i put stuff in
and how do i make cameras

The main camera is already built in. You don't need to make anymore unless it's for special reasons.

CattleRustler is pulling your leg. Go and read some tutorials on program layout (try parts 1 to 4 of my series for beginners in the stickies at the top of this forum).

If you don't, you'll have all sorts of problems.

lol, no I wasnt trying to kid him, I meant:

prior to entering your main loop you will want to load up objects and textures and images, sounds, etc etc. Now regardless if these steps are broken out into functions, or coded-inline like beginners most likely will, they are still ordered "steps" that you determine by the order of the code - heck, even the main loop is just an ordered set of steps. So my original answer, while rushed, and a bit cheeky, was being serious

The best order is this (in my opinion)



if i missed something let me know but media is like cameras, models, images etc. it doesn't matter what order the media is in as long as you keep it tidy and organised

Actually I've never had any layout problems and I didn't read your tutorials at all.

I used the example programs that came with DBC

Unfortunately you are in the minority - most newcomers don't.

And when I said "If you don't, you'll have all sorts of problems.", I wasn't referring to reading my tutorials, I meant tutorials in general. (I just re-read it and it's definitely what I put).
