I would rarely consider attempting a self portrait, but a particular game gave me a plausible idea to pull it off. Below you'll find my mug in the Grand Theft Auto art style. I thought this could be an interesting thread to present our mugs in a creative manner

Check the facial expression, lol

Well, I did a quick image, if you want to get the gist of what I look like, dare I not boast any 2D arts skills, I can only draw by hand and not mouse (as I draw left handed and I use my mouse right handed for one thing, not that it excuses the awfulness of my work)

@Peter H, God, I love your picture...actually I love it so much it scares me.

I'm glad someone thought of this! What a laugh I had doing this drawing just now!

Beware: programmer art, done in just a few minutes. I think it captures pretty well what I look like, although in the drawing I do look like I'm 20kg heavier and I was just hit by a truck.

You might think so Dabip, but if you could get a critic to say it's good then people would buy pics drawn like that like they were going out of style and talking about the "meaning" etc.

Hmm, I drew a self portrait a month or two ago... Here we go.

I should have done more with the highlights, and I don't like the shape as the teacher wouldn't allow us to sketch the general shape first, so basically I had to draw from the eyes out.

Meh, I'll draw another one in about a month the way I want to, and then find ways to be overcritical about that one.

Edit: also, as I was only allowed to draw one part of my face at a time, the eyes are pointing in diff. directions. Oh, and I've recently stopped shaving, so I look rather different atm.

@ Bizar Guy

Wow, that's good. How did you do the hair? i can't get my hair to look that realistic in my portraits.

Also, was the eye thing intentionally? lol.
