It doesn't work here.

PIV, Win XP SP2, 3.2 ghz, 1 GB ram, ATI Radeon 9600 128 MB.
The animation comes, followed by "creating file structure" or something like that, with progress bar. It goes up to about 15% and then nothing happens.

There's probably a anti-virus dialog in the background. When it does that, hit the spacebar. Was there an error.txt file generated? It would be in the root folder.

Make sure your anti-virus software isn't blocking it.

It's possible that you caught the game as it was exiting. If you'd like to try again, let me know and I'll host a game.

Where are you dude? LOL

I'm hosting a game. But I have to get dinner, so you guys can play on it. Or Underside can host because his hosting is faster than mine.

LOL...I thought you already knew that I was a partner in Phoenix Sentry. Anyway, I think DarkArena: Complex could stand a chance as a Best of the Best offering. KeithC is going to download it some day and check it out.

Are you using a router? I see your IP, but It won't let me join. If you're using a router, you have to set Port Forwarding.

@HockyKid: You have to know your internal IP address, not your external. For example, mine might be 192.168.1.105. I would enter that IP and the port of 2303 in my router settings for port forwarding. What brand name router do you have?

AlanC: Connect to "DarkFact". The other one is not configured correctly for a router.

I have a linksys router. In your web browser, type in 192.168.1.1 and it should ask for your login and password. Enter that in. Once inside, go to Gaming and set the port range from 2303 to 2303, and the last 3 digits of the IP to that of your computer's [internal] address such as 192.168.1.105. (You'll have to get the actual address from your PC)

Then click save. Your port should now be forwarded from your external IP to your internal and you should be able to host a game.

Darkfact I ran your test app. if my PC can run your game (Phoenix test). It worked but I had to allow three things. Spybot Search and Destroy had problems with them.

Will give it another try.
