But when I saw the video... I was speechless! The dripping water was the absolute highlight in my opinion, outstanding work on the shaders and media!

Well, I just watched the video after totally ignoring it when I first posted... but then the light came and smacked me! I kept rewinding the video looking, grinning in amazement! I'd pay more than 20 bucks for something like this. Way more than 20. I think a pack like this deserves this.

In fact, it'd be cool if you got your own special little tag next to your avatar (like BOTB, Valued Member, etc.)... Something to make you at least seem almost as good as you really are...

Overall, this is the best piece of art I've seen ever made for FPSC. The shaders look so... Crysis-y.

Outstanding work, I hope this gets better and better,

PWP

Thanks for keeping up the enthusiasm guys!

I'm trying to keep my own enthusiasm level up to get this done. Anyone who has created models for FPSC knows the drudgery of getting things FPSC-ready (making thumbnails, fpe's, etc.) Plus the extra overhead of creating 3 or 4 textures per model, instead of the regular single diffuse texture - but the results are worth it!

I know he's already a Valued Member; he deserves that. Yet I think he deserves something unique. Something special. I dunno.

Again, nice work.

Yes it's amazing how quickly your eye acclimates to environments that are dynamic and have actual surface properties - shiny, dull, metallic, reflective, etc. They seem so much more alive and real.

I've built a few of my old maps and everything looks SO flat and dull.

I will be updating Model Pack 17, 18, and 22 characters to use the same shader guts so that they fully integrate into their environments once and for all. This a turning point for all my future models for FPSC.

This is a turning point for FPSC in general, Your work here will be a quantum leap in the advancement of the creation of games, and media in this engine.

It's been long overdue, but now many of our hopes have been realized, thanks to you sir.

All the best to you and yours.

It will when you apply the shaders to them

Have you ever looked into the FPSC Toolbox? I've had it for, I think over a year now, and it's great. Save A LOT of time getting models FPSC-ready. I would definately recommend it.

this is INCREDIBLE! great work you have done.

i have one question: how are you able to make sound that gets quieter or louder depending where its placed and where you are in the map? this refers to the water splashing down and its volume gets higher as your closer to it and quieter when your farther away from it.

Cant wait to see more

Well we're literally days to release now! I'm getting things ready to send off to TGC and preparing promo materials.

And if you liked what you've seen so far, prepare to be amazed all over again! Lots of new stuff

Could a mod lock this thread please? This was a teaser thread, I'll be making an official thread in just a few days.
