Storyline:
Set in the 1972,The Forgotten follows a man by the name Mikhail Nikolaevich Dostoevsky,a Russian Speleologist who's exploring the Ural Mountains in hope of finding an unexplored cave.He does, but doesn't fully comprehend what he has discovered.Unknowingly he comes across an interesting looking old bunker like entrance.Mikhail tries to identify the the bunker but slips down a pitch-dark path and lands on a metal surface. As soon as he lands, all hell broke loose.A horrifying sound of old metal stretching appears and Mikhail soon realizes that he has triggered a lift down an unknown and dark Russian bunker.

Description:
The Forgotten is a psychological horror adventure game and the first installment of the planed mini-series Nox Aeterna in where you find secrets and unravel the horrifying past of the Russian underground bunker. This game was highly inspired by Penumbra but there is little no none similarity's,aside from a underground complex.

Fun Fact: Nox Aeterna means eternal darkness in Latin, which suits nicely with the setting of the first installment.

Demo:Note:a demo of the complete second level is soon to come, there is just most of the finishing touches to be done.

Requests:If anyone would be willing to make dead body entity's of the ultimate zombie from the Zombie Apocalypse pack.
I would be unlimitedly grateful.

Also if anyone knows where,I could get a German WW2 pistol like a Luger of example please let me know, because the Colt 1911 is just a place holder for now.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These picture represent a work in progress game and is open to criticism.

The textures and lighting really set the mood. Everything meshes well together. In the first shot, the cart appears to be floating a bit (hit "RETURN").

If you're open to suggestions I would change the Bunker from Nazi German heritage to Russian. Due to the PSI Experiments they made you can relate any type of horror thingie to and due to the fact that I have a fully rigged Makarov Pistol

BTW: I'm happy to see another promising FPSC Game on the Forums

Quote: "to Russian"

Did the Russians have any bunkers in the Alps,or in the Ural mountains for that matter?
But changing to Russian wouldn't be so bad after all.The Russians are now hip (Stalker,Cod:MW2,Metro 2033,...),the Nazis are so last decade ,I can supply voices (seeing that my language is close to Russian),you have a Makarov Pistol (which is sweet) and I all around like the Russians, for the most part.So yeah, why not.

Quote: "When do I start employment as your henchman?"

Well see .
First, you can tell me about your request, second, what are you good at or can offer in return.

Wolf, might I ask where did you get it'

General Update:
I'm retexturing stuff like German ammo boxes and signs to fit with the Russian setting.

Looks awesome! I love the last scene! And in my opinion, if you would have overloaded it with entities, it would have ruined it. Right now, I think it looks great. But the screenie before that? Well, as cool as it might look in game, with all the rest of the game whe nplaying, I must say, that as a screen it's quite pointless, as it shows almost nothing. You know what I mean?

Enjoy and post your thoughts!

THANKS!
I'm really trying to create a diverse FPSC environment like never seen before, not just boring square rooms. That's why the whole percent of segments used in The Forgotten is around 5%,because most of the rooms are entity's form maximum diversity.
I'm always looking for ways,so if anyone's got some tips,be sure to recommend them!

Hey!

I don't want to sound stuck up or ignorant with my suggestions. I would make them too if I wouldn't be a veteran FPSC User

I would suggest (again) to add even more variety to the last Screenshots shown. Its a rounded up room, okay. But its filled with boxes and basic "gaspots" or whatever they are callen. Well...thats pretty much basic, typical FPSC stuff.

I would review the levels by asking myself the following:

- Its a bunker area, so where could I add broken down wallpieces, small pipes, cables and other maintenance items. What about some leaking pipes or dead rats (maybe even life ones)

- There where people here, why not to add a few old hidden alc. bottles or magazines.

- What about some panels, signs etc. in russian?

Just suggestions. Also, the whole cave thing seems too warm. Not really an deep under the ground feeling. But that might be just me.

Awesome work so far. Very promising! Keep it on!

Also: did you receive my E - Mail about the weapon?
