How do you know? My tribe. We don't even really have an economy, so if I make random numbers and it's not 100% rich I'm fine.

AutoBot Report 2:

We now have a great stronghold at the center of our kingdom, which will hold central activities, including training of the royal guard, attack planning, and diplomatic coordination. We will now start building a heavy wall around our fortification. We expand to the east and find a great gold mine, changing the status of our economy:

Rich: 30%
Mid: 40%
Low: 30%

Rome report:
We now no longer use money. There are soldiers and peasants. No classes. The soldier protect for food and the peasants cook for protection.

AutoBot Report 3:

It's pretty hard to construct a wall to cover our whole entire border, which encompasses about 300 miles. Nevertheless, we continue to build fortifications. We've expanded west and found camels there, adding cavalry to our army. Here's my army's statistics:

The royal guard: 5000
Seige caravan: 10000
Swordsmen: 200000
Slingshot: 100000
Seige equipment: 5000
Archers: 50000
Shadow Ninjas: 1
Total: 370001

What the heck happened to the map? Fix it please. 'Weapons' are not a nautral resource, Iron used to make it are. Remember the resources are the core, unprocessed stuff. Rant aside, here is my nation stuff.

Population: 3 million
Rich 5%
Middle class 30%
Poor 65%
Unemployed 6%

Government: Monarchy

Religion: Roman Catholic

Resources:
Iron, Wood, Wheat, Barley, Copper

Problems:
Disease,

Capital: Athens

Major Cities: Plovdiv, Thelissalonica

Intelligence service. (At first this is probably going to be NA)
Occasional hired spies

Police Force
None, local Barons keep the peace.

ARMED FORCES (Be plausible. Remember making too big of an army causes problems at home, and your population has to be able to feed it.)

5,000 Infantry
500 Calvery
7 War Galleys
10 Transport Quadremes
1 Turtle Ship

A plan will follow, Im doing classwork right now.
EDIT: DOne

The Kingdom of Bulgaria Report 1

The Road: A road is to stretch from Athens to Plovdiv, thusly connecting the two ends of the Kingdom of Bulgaria. This will allow commerce to flow to both ends of the empire. This road is to have a base of large rocks, a second layer of medium rocks and then covered with paving rocks.

The first part of the great Romanian Road.

Inquisitional Agents:
As it stands, too many heathen peoples live in the nation of Bulgaria, so the king has decreed that 100 men, highly trained in martial arts shall be given a fort in the middle of Greece and given two apprentices each. Although the Bulgarian Inquisition has not yet started, the agents have begun to be trained.

The Great Turtle Ship:
The first experimental ship of Bulgaria, the turtle ship, has been built. It is powered by ore and sail, and the top is covered to avoid boarding of the ship and to protect the people. Bows and arrows can be fired out of the sides. They also have a battering ram underneath.

To: Rome
Fr: Bulgaria
Do you wish to trade? (Not as Bulgaria... You leader could be the pope as you control the vatican, just saying.)

Do you even know why I put the grid on there? It's to control land expansion that people make per move; if they talk about their economy, they can expand by one grid space.

No, because at first when we get to colonies (1400 for african coast and 1500 for America), They will be only one pixel big at first, not a whole tile.

Army: 25% of male population(167500)
Navy: 25% of male population(167500)

the citizens wiill work together with each other if we need more land and when we are attacking or under attack.

Ok, Ive Un-done the grid and added a bunch of non-player states. You can talk to them, just put "(NPC)" next to their name in conversation so I know that you are talking to them. You may trade with them and you must have a plan if you want to go to war with them.

Rich 8%
Middle class 36%
Poor 56%
Unemployed 23%

Religion: Most of the country would be christian.

Resources:
Give the top 5

Wood, Moose, Deer, Iron, Copper

Problems:
At least 3. Everyone has them, don't make me make them up for you.

Due to the high amount of unemployed people, a lot of people goes into criminal actions, so criminality is a big problem.

Weak army

Weak economy

Capital: Stockholm

Major Cities: Stockholm and Göteborg

Intelligence service. (At first this is probably going to be NA)
How Many
Police Force
How Many

ARMED FORCES (Be plausible. Remember making too big of an army causes problems at home, and your population has to be able to feed it.)

Army: Due to the weak economy, the country cannot afford to hire to many soldiers, therefore the army is about 15% of the male population

Navy: The army is weak but the navy is strong! Since Sweden has such a huge amount of wood, the civilians have learned to craft with wood very well. Therefore the ships are in excellent condition and can withstand quiet much!

My modest tribe builds a small canoe like boat, what a wonderful creation! For testing means, chief Cormorant sends three troopers out to sea, and will turn back if it lasts until the moon shows. If by morn we do not see them, we will modify the plans. Hopefully there is land to conquer on the other land of the "big blue," and we can gain distant land. The sun is setting and any time now the boat should be returning.

OK as we have the pope's approval (lives in rome) here is the Event. I know that this event did not happen, but it is funner to talk about rum.

CRUSADE!!!
The Christian Byzantine Empire has been in decline for nearially a full century. A string of incompitant leaders and a stroke of bad luck has lead to the Sultanate of Rum (Egypt) to gaining the Holy Land from the Byzantines. The byzantines have turned to the pope and asked for his aid, which he gave:

To: All Christian Nations
From: The pope, Urbanis II
I, pope Urbanis II, hereby call upon all of christiandom to help and fight the Musulems and return the Holy Land to the faith.

600,000 well trained highlanders from scotland, 100,000 Welsh Archers and 200,000 Irish infantry/cavalry, with over 1000 skilled siege equipment operators (the actual seige engines will be built on-site). Descend upon Rome. We burn every village we pass to the ground.

I call out to my French allies to assist me in this war.

It is not much, but it might help!

War Review: The first Crusade and Celtic Invasion of Rome. Part One.
( 200,000 men from Rome to Isreal??? WTF do you think the will eat, grass??? Armies at this time were much smaller, but I will make the numbers more real and not starve them this time. Sorry if I seem strict. These numbers are still pretty nice, giving the time.)

Right after Pope Urbanas II called for the holy crusade, many Christians got up and rearing to go. 20,000 men from Rome (sorry for such a big change) and 4000 men from Sweden as well as a large amount from the Byzantine Empire marched into the Holy Land on their ships. They arrived into the Holy Land at the city of Antioch. and laid siege to the city of Jerusulem. After a total of 2 months it fell to the Combined forces of Sweden and Rome.

Summery:The crusaders capture Jerusulem and Antioch. They should now decide who gets what terratory.

EDIT: Oh, you are Jersey. I tell you what. Ill clear that result if you promice not to even think such a big army untill much, much later.

Japan starts to increase rice production to get ready for a population boost. Every new male born is to be trained as a Samurai (added to the army). Every new female born is to be sent to work in the rice paddies to keep the rice production up.

Let me know what I gain.

What??? I didnt add, I subtracted. If you think for one moment that any nation of that time, esp. Ireland, could support 600,000 all the way in Rome at 1025 AD you have a very poor sence of logostics. If you think Italy (Rome) could support 200,000 all the way in Palastine, you are also wrong. I was trying to be nice, but if you use crazy numbers like that again, I cant let you do that, heck even today 600,000 men is A huge force to send in an invasion.

@ Jersey: Ill let you edit your plans. Tell me how you plan to get there, how your troops will eat on that long voyage and lower your numbers.

@All: Ok, Heres the deal, one cannot have more than 10% of their population in the army.

@Asian nations: I would like your plans for the chinese warring states era. (China is balkanized, te one who claimed china merely claimed one of the factions struggling for control.)

Sweden will claim Antioch, unless anyone complains, it can offcourse be discussed.

The crusaders of sweden returns home, not many came home, but roughly 2000 should have made it.
They will be called veterans and live on in history.

Sweden wishes to inform that anyone lacking in wood can get it cheap from here, as wood is not a problem at all.

70% Peasants

10% Army

Japan is more interested in taking control of Korea for base to later attack the Chinese territories.

I would like to send 4% of my army to Korea and try to take it. The other 6% of my army is to defend Japan from hostile forces.

I am not Christian, so I will not fight. I fight for one religion and the Austric Tribe is the only recorded civilization with my religion. And do I have to have less then 10% of my population in my army? I only have roughly 75 people in my tribe, meaning I would have less then 10 fighters, which is uncommon for a tribe of such size. Also with the canoe, it returned about to sink with only one man alive who was brutally injured, and died not too long after he came back. Supposedly it was animals that lived in the waters. Before the man died he told us that he found an island of moderate size not too far off the coast, so we soon plan to sail off to said island.

Sigh, no one is near me therefore I can not trade, I shouldn't even know about you. And why am I never expanding? I'll talk about my economy a bunch then, even though I really have none. We... we building some sticks with sharp edges for our last group broke when we ran into a group of tigers and lost 25 men. We also finished construction on a bigger boat large enough to carry 20 men and enough food to get them to land. (hopefully) Tonight we roast a large hog, which they will take half of on their journey to eat the first night at sea. They will try to contact us at a later date if all goes well.

thanks.

Sweden starts to train more Guards/Police troops, to maintain control and also to lower the unemployed population.
Expecting unemployed pop to decrease by approx 5% the next few years from this.

Also, to any nearby countries (europe), if you have a lot of steel we will be willing to trade, just give us the call.

We arrive at a very large island! And the best part, lone humans are found! There are now over a thousand people in this tribe! How wonderful! Our people begin make certain weapons made for throwing, for far away combat on the main-land. (What is now Australia) And on the distant land (what is now that little island by Australia) has started eating fish and the people found have told them of building fires and cooking! They decide to sail back to the mainland to tell of the wonderful intelligence they now know! But the boat moves slow with more cargo, and with less food they might not make it.

We have finished building the wall surrounding our kingdom. It's a good wall. We have also discvered the technology of spaghetti, and are willing to trade it with anyone. We also expand north-east by one pixel, since that's the furthest we're allowed to go. But who knows, maybe someday I'll have a lively expansion of 10 pixels. Yay!

The boat arrives, and due to our new hunting system and more and more food being able to be hunted and cooked, our intelligence grows and we begin expanding at a fantastic rate!

But on the bad side, our first chief, Cormorant, has passed away. Although we have of coarse discovered reproduction so his son Cormant has taken the spot as chief. His first order is to make a system of partners in reproduction, one to eat with, the only one to have kids with, so on. Sort of a marriage, all older members of a tribe pick a woman and the ceremonies begin. Now that we are becoming more civilized, like I said, we are EXPANDING AT A FASTER RATE.

Uh-oh, I don't think techathon will like that... lol

We have sent some cavalry out and established a new base near the coast, and can now start making a navy.
