I have an idea for the MI's. Maybe you could make some theat are dirty/bloddy and wounded? Because then you could create both on-ship "tutorial" levels with the clean ones, and a "battlefield" level with the banged-up ones. And the Moritas seen in the first film usually have a large shotgun attatchment on the bottom, where a grenade launcher would go. So you could probably create a separate model with the player holding it as if he were to be using the attatchment. Sorry if I'm getting annoying, I'm just trying to offer ideas.

Signatures are a form of generalized, broadbased control. Therefore, I refuse to have one.

Cp and I are still working on it, we are just doing other things at the moment. Don't worry it will get done. I am trying to learn how to animate the bugs properly. There is not alot of info on multiple leg animations.

I havn't been on in a while and everybody is starting to get my hopes up. Everything sounds good but i was told it was gonna be ready for release over a month ago. I hope you guys finish this project, i am glad you are still working on it

I'm guessing everybody gave up the project, nobody has posted on this in a while. I havn't been on in a while and i was hoping to find a released product but i was a little disappointed. It doesn't really matter though bc i can't do even a quarter of this stuff so i have no room to talk bad about not releasing this. Maybe somebody can just release what they have done and call it good...?

This project has been cancelled due to the fact that "All" the forum members that were involved, aside from myself, Have left the community. And as far as I know, They have no intensions of returning any time soon.

It really is a shame that this got abandoned because we all put alot of work into this. I personally learned a lot of new ways and tricks to creating models so I thank all of you for that.

It's ok CP. Just working very hard on many things. It just seems that BLR keeps getting put on the back burner as I keep taking on more and more projects. So I need to step back and complete all of them, before I move forward.

Ok that's good that you didn't abbandon it entirely. At least is will get completed. It does suck many people left the community but I am glad people are still working. I wish there was someway that i could help you guys out.

Since we are no longer able to make models based on copyrighted material this pack will not be released here. I you want what I have done for the pack you may email me for it, but know this the pack is incomplete and there will be bugs and stuff that you, not me, will need to work out. My gosh, that was the second gun I had ever modeled Of course, I couldn't UV map it or animate then Great work on that Cosmic! This is amazing stuff, can't wait to see this all completed!

Sorry, I missed this.Please don't take this the wrong way, but the weapon was made by me, mesh, texture and animations. Cosmic only made the script that made the texture change on the archie. I went back through the post and I saw your weapon you made. I didn't realize it. Again sorry, but do continue to model.

Really, no comments on anything? Out of all those emails that people sent me for me to finish this pack, no comments. Well maybe this demo will spark some life into this thread.

This demo is my test level for the models and I thought that today would be great time to show some of what the pack has in it. Enjoy, but leave some comments so I know what's on your minds. It's motivation for me.

Troopers are using stock animations. The bugs and weapons are all new animations. Scripting will be a big thing here for this. I'm ok at scripting, but these would need an expert at the dark ai to really make them sing. Adding new animations is simple for someone that would like to help me with the scripts.

This looks really awesome starmind. your modling is fantastic.

I've got some stuff to add to this pack too but i'm still working on the texturs for wash out lane.

Any idea what the deadline is for release? just so i dont miss it

Little update. For those of you that either watch the video or played the demo, you would have notice that the platform segments were off a bit. Those are now fixed and I have added the ramp to get up there. Like I said a little update. Enjoy!

I wanted to try out my new sony vegas last night so I combined S4real suggestion with the tutorial I did. What I did with the model is I added 3 new animations (idle,death & attack) and improved the walk animation to match the one in the movie more. Then I smoothed the ipo for better animations in-game, which looked great.

Hey thanks CP!

Another small update. I have been learning to texture and uv map better. Hopefully, All of you will believe That I am getting better.

What I did here is, I remapped the original mesh made by Zwarte. Then I retextured the brain bug in zbrush and did a new normal while in zbrush. Now I did save part of CP's texture, but most of it is mine. To create the new normal map I needed to change the uvmap.

Also if you look at the mesh that Zwarte made, there was some mesh problems. In the second mesh I fixed all of that. Enjoy!
