What is ProjectPHP?

So I'm new. I can still code. ProjectPHP is an integration of PHP into FPSC similar to FPSC IP, but with different features and a different coding system.

Pardon my ignorance, but what does PHP stand for?
I'm not complaining - all the features sound great.

Hypertext Preprocessor ...
I'm curious to see how this gets actually integrated into FPSC.

This looks very very good. Out of cureosity, what do you mean by coop? 2 player, or multiplayer teams?

There will be CTF, yes.
No SnD though.
Objectives can be ranged from killing a boss, killing a certain number of whatever, getting an item or x amount of it, getting to a place, capturing someone, escaping with in a time limit, etc.

This looks absolutely amazing!
From what I can see, you seem to have done a he** of a lot, and well, I can't wait to see how this looks when finished.
My only real question is, once you've finished the actual fact of it being online, will you begin on addons, like have the online part of the mod, then include the kind of features non-multiplayer mods have?
I would absolutely LOVE to use this, but I'm just not sure whether this would have as good gameplay as the other mods?

Another thing;

Quote: "Multiplayer/Single Player Choice at Menu -
Missions/Objective Select -
Campaign - "

I would have thought campaign was single player? Though, I've been looking for something like this for AGES. Just when I was about to begin it myself, I see that you've already got this half done. ^-^

That aside, however, again, this looks pretty awesome, and is a brilliant contribution to the community - ESPECIALLY since it's free.

Good luck with this!

The Campaign DATA stores on PHP.
It mixes both single and Multi Play with it,

Basiclly it all stores on a MySQL Database from a PHP file that updates the stats and Data stores for each player for each game.

On a Side Note:
Does anyone know of any Map Selection Tools for Multi-player? I want to compare a few codes.

i doubt he has any videos as this is likely in the early coding stage, if you need any beta testers though, i think many of us would be more than happy to volunteer

Ah, this is gonna be epic, man. I can't wait for you to finish this.

See, man, I've been worrying about having project blue, but if you say it's fine with it, then epiczzz.

So, I'm assuming it does not have a FPSC-Game file replacement?

Also, I assume the website be customisable? x]

I've designed sites for a while now, and love my own touches on things.

This sounds fine and all,but how is it going to correspond with FPSC.

The statistics need to be extracted from the game directly, and unless you mod the source heavily, this isn't quite doable.

Hope to hear a bit about the coding side, rather than the features.

Good luck.

It's actually a source mod, but uses different files so it dosen't harm the source. The game connects to a MySQL database and sends the data so PHP can read it. Everything is customizable. The coding is through cross-language extensions. You will have to replace the FPSC-Game file, and it can take like 10 minutes to set up, it's worth it though.

Then it won't be compatible with other mods, unless you make it

hmm sounds fishy. first you say

as if you had tested with mods
then you say

Quote: "You will have to replace the FPSC-Game file"

i dont know...

Can I make video games? Yes. Can I make Halo? Of course not. Does that make me a bad game maker? No. If someone tells you that you cant make games (unless you really cant), tell them to [Removed].

yeah, i made a mistake.
Sorry, I wasn't used to how the MODs were installed.
You do have to replace the FPSC-Game file, but then it is open source. From the way I'm coding it, it'll be okay with other variables added into the script.
