Finally a great idea, to connect php and mysql to FPSC.
Especially because just a simple hosting to create a service similar to those of dedicated servers, with a nice savings.

I hope I succeeded, maybe you can also add a nice clan system would emerge a superb job

Forgive me for still sounding skeptical but has anyone actually seen any of this?

Yes, has anyone REALLY seen proof? Not to be rude but the promises you are making are baffiling to even work with FPS. You say your doing it and yet, I have my doubts... Just post one video with screencast-o-matic in HD on youtube like every other mod and I'll believe you. A little chart with , , and means nothing without actual proof.

Cheers.

Funny thing about it : his online scoreboard is gone with the rest of the site... I'd like to see some actual proof as well.

I was rather curious about this myself as it seems to be quite a long time since the initial post and yet there is absolutely nothing to show. I don't want to sound cynical or create a negative atmosphere but Answers like:

Quote: "I'm Trying, Man."

and

Quote: "Ok I guess..
I'm having like 20+ errors..."

Just aren't real responses to people asking for an 'update'.

Shame, as the features sound promising, however if you are intending on developing this mod I would think about starting to showcase something, otherwise its a false premise.

ye ur right. and maybe not build it in PHP. but try a real language. such as C#, C++, C. or as knxrb does: Visual basic

that will work better

About the ethicx site.
The actual site had EXTREME DDOS attacks,
so I sold the domain.

And also, there's a problem with the screen shots.
It's mostly just a code engine.
What would I make a shot of?

No need to put it in caps,we can see just fine.

Quote: "It's mostly just a code engine."

A feature is a feature,it's visible one way or another(unless it's in the optimization category)

Do I need to read to you the features you are adding.According to your first post, you have done quite a lot,so why not post some screenshots of that shoutbox, admin menu, gamer tags,co-op...heck why not a video even..

Screenshot the output of features you've 'coded' into the engine perhaps?

Shadowdeath you must understand this is what people are asking for... If you cannot deliver then it is rather pointless updating this thread with comments like
Quote: "I'm Trying, Man"
...

I am in no way having a go at you personally or your mod, as I said earlier with the features you listed it does sound like it could be promising, but all this time and absolutely no update just 'talk' isn't impressing anyone.

Could I ask... what features have you coded in, finalised and tested?

EDIT: Genchy beat me to it!

1. Clear up Suspicion
2. Give a better feel of it

I am just saying but, you shouldn't make a thread for a mod until you are at least more that half way done with actually finishing the mod. By the looks of it, I'd say that this mod will die. I mean the stuff on the first page will be hard to do, especially by yourself. I sure do hope though that this mod stays alive...

I'm not saying that you aren't trying, I'm just saying this thread should have been started later when you were more finished. Also, doing it all by yourself will just make it tougher. Good luck with everything.

Cheers.

[Off Topic]

I don't think there is any necessity to spam someone's thread with opinions of what they should or should not do. This is getting quite old, and to be honest rather annoying. Too many people are posturing themselves thinking that their opinion is law. So the poster made a thread- big deal. Let's just let him work on his errors/issues and hope that he can accomplish his goal. In other words, a little bit of positive encouragement goes a long way. He can get further by learning rather than being hit over the nose with a newspaper.

Like the saying... You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar...

[On Topic]

@ Shadowdeath...

My apologies for ranting in your thread. It is getting quite old, and this is what causes people to get fed up and leave the community. It leaves a distaste in their mouth, and although we all have our own ideas/opinions, we can at least try to offer some encouragement.

I am certain you will sort out your issues, or at the very least, learn from these and let that knowledge help you to obtain your goals. Best of luck.

You're right. I just didn't mean to be bossy, I just wanted to point out the fact that posting the thread later would be great. (You know like Fenix/Project Blue Mod)

ProjectPHP is back in development.
Unfortunately, after much testing, I have decided to rewrite ALL of the database work on the engine. Not the all of the code, just the MySQL Database parts.
Program is still extremely buggy and unfinished overall.
