Thank you man but not work.I'll try more tomorrow or change the modeling,now without alphas...I tried a ww2 skeleton and have the same problem: alphas not work in no shader mode.

i have to say that ive been stalking this thread for a while. i havent commented yet, but im just wondering who does all your retextures and modelling. seems, that this game is practically made of completely custom media, must of taken a team of 934469266326 to create all of that stuff.

I just tested in 1.18 for you and it works just fine, but I remember Bond1 saying to save your texture as a dds dtx5. I think that might help you. If you cannot get that to work, I can help you more if you sent the model and texture and I will get it fpsc ready for you. If you don't trust me enough for that then I would sculpt the hair, but that might be alot of polys for in game.

I think is 99% custom media.I had working with many teams before at my animation series productions and a lot of advetising campaign.I'm a very experient modeler and animator man.And fast...TOYARTWAR is my own work I have my own criterion, so I Try to maximize creativity and with this in mind I can work very fast .I have some assets I did some time ago and never used but 70% I'm produce at the same time with the game development.

I tried with DXT5 and 1 byte alpha too ( DXT1 ).Are you sure your FPSC shading is off?
Anyway I changed the character to don't use alphas.Look to result in the picture.
I can send you the character for test, no problem , but I will use this new character for while.The polycount is not high... of course there is a lot of polys in the hair, but the body, arms and legs are not.So there is a good balance in the polycount.( around 2000 tris).




So, This guy will use this bomb...I already have him working inside the level, and I

have some problems:
_ Every time when the character dies , one bomb stay in the floor.I can't get it and it don't disapeer...What I should to do the bomb disapeer when character goes on?

_ I'm testing the levels with no guns to player.And when the character throw the last bomb he dies.Loks a suicide...ahaha how I get he live?

- I changed a lot of parameters in the flak.fpe to the bomb go further from the character but nothig work... is there a way to do this?

- I'd like a way to have a spark animated like in the picture... Is it possible?

I hope you excuse my poor engkish and can understand...

Aha Finally someone saw this...Thank you for show ! Beastie Boys is one great inspiration for me, and this cover too.unfortunately this overlay will not in my final version game.( but if BeastBoy agree...aha)But I'll do a lot of this kind of interference in videos e images to promote TOYARTWAR.For me , this looks a map, a colorfull maze project ...ahaha anyway tecnicaly looks me a block constrution similar a way you construct walls in FPSC.
I had some inspiration in this kind of construction from MONDRIAN and create some segmentos to BIGHATBOY inspired in him.



... and music is extremely very close to that game.

Well I'm very busy at this moment( with other jobs ) what take me worried about the time to finish my levels to DTO comp and launch the first official demo in November... there is few things to finish yet and promos to conclude.But I'll work hard to finish.I decided to remove the links to templates downloads in page 2 .I'll change my promo strategy with toypapers and send this gifts for who donate and help me to continue my development.Soon I'll have a link to this.

my Lava effect does use a shader, but only on to make the lava move, and practicly does not increase any more frame rates,

in my test's i started with just the rocks and then added one by one testing after adding one by one, and the frame rates stayed the same, so thats a bonus from this effect.

As for you youtube vid, your game is looking very nice, i love the way you make your images, it gives it a unique funky look.

I did not see any expoding barrels, i think a few colourful expoding barrels wouldn't go a miss.

Thought out using AppGameKit for your mini-game? you could reach various mobile devices using that.

I'm not using AGK.I'd like a lot try this app but it's looks like a program for coders...I'm trying a program to make games in HTML5, and this have a nice editor ( and a visual script ) .Anyway I'm very hungry to put this games in many devices... ehehehe.

0Alemar0, This is a great fpsc game if ever this will be polished and be done and then released. This game have the commercial quality. I also looked on to your website, I see that this one is going BIG. I love how you do the layout of the website, and I saw how you put effort, time and money for this game. I am sure this will be successful.

All your models are less poly so I am sure you will not be having problems on the framerate. This game is pure of fun and uniqueness. An fps game that can be played by all age is great. The colorful appeal your textures and design gives are really great. You are a good one as you see that forcing your self to make a realistic environment and textures will not help your game good, you do it the other way around and that is hell of a thinking. In short, your a smart guy. In this type of game, you do not need to make yourself suffer to make it look like real and force it to look real and be a wanna be of aaa games. This project is awesome and there is a different feel... on this game.

Cause I am thinking the same, just like what I always tell to people... No matter what engine we use or how good the graphics of a game maybe, it will all still fall in one word "GAME". The game does matter and not how the developer made it.

Sorry my delay in the last weeks.
I had a lot of very importants jobs to finish in the year's end.( unexpected, since october )I had to travel to other state in my country to finish one of this jobs also.
I arrived one week ago and tried to finish TOYARTWAR demo for december , how I had promess, but ,I'm very tired, there is many details to close, and finally have to postpone the first demos to first half of 2012.

I have to say that this project don't die, I have a lot of expectations with this project, and, I'm very near to finish the first levels.

So, excuse me , but keep your eyes here.
Have a nice New year and a lot of peace for everyone in the Earth.

Well my last post was 1 year ago... In february.
In April I had a medical problem... I was very near to die... I had my left side body paralized...
I spend months in fisioterapy to walk and move my left arm again.... I'm fine now!!! I can walk 90% like I was walk before and my left arm moviment have 90% I had before...
I spend many time in phisical body academy, loose a lot of weight... I'm very beautiful and sexy now...ahahahah and I'm near to have the same body I had with 18 years... Really apreaciate and love life! No time to loose!
I never loose my hopes and now I must have carefull with my food and my body...
Well when I saw my thread locked , I was very sad... But KeithC help me !thank you!
Back to my thread I was wrong when I promissed a game for december ... Never more I will give a date if I don't have all things finish!
So, I'm back and next week I already have somethings to show and the development continue...

I would not worry. Real life happens, and there are somethings (like personal health) that seem to sneak up on us from time to time as we get older. The important thing is you are doing well.

Never once have we been disappointed. This could take a year or five years- it is refreshing to watch another development like this through the stages. It is like a TV show, you know where they end it and leaves you wondering to the point you just have to watch the next episode? This development has the same effect.

We wish you the best of luck.

Glad to see you are back at this project and are now doing well. This and a few others I've seen are definitely more of the creative a colorful. It's good to have healthy variation.

Perhaps we will see bigger things out of you.

Very fun your nick... I can\'t read without laugh.
Well i believe this is my first post really after my health problems... I"ll starting where I stopped.
I had some problems in my last level, in FPSC version 1 year ago.With version 1.20 - beta 15 my problems had finished, but when I installed beta 16, my problems back and worse...
So I back to beta 15 and is better now but not perfect...
I'm in the moment where I'm doing hud interfaces and I did a level just to teaching the commands.there is too a empty room where I'll put some more stuff.here a screen.



This will be the third level and objective is kill all guys in the level... I"d like to have the same icons constantly in the screen and have a "X" on the icon when they are dead... But I don't know how to do this... Someone could help me? BlackFox, Corno?



And this picture shows a bug (I don"t know if this just happen in test mode ) but when the player die and back to start point this box appear and the display not show again...
