People that constantly moan about call of dutys kill streak and death streaks make me laugh so much

I like the idea of a kill streak, admittedly it isn't very realistic but it's a game, it gives you something to aim for, puts a bit of excitement into it and if you are good then you should be rewarded for it. And for death streaks, people moan that kill streaks help people too much when they don't need it and then moan when it gives you help when you do need it, lets face it death streaks make very little impact at the best of times

Death streaks reward being bad. Name any other game that rewards you for being subpar rather than above average. I have no problem with kill streaks.

Quote: "I was in the BETA for MoH, it was good! but i hated the unlock system - it was slow as heck (RO2 style, only that this game is more like COD in MP - fast paced but slow unlocks doesnt go well imo)"

is that the original MoH? I dont like the original one, but the new one from 2010 was awesome. After i played it, It occured to me that its the best FPS game i ever played! better than Crysis, or CoD or any of the big FPS games that came out.

The storyline was kindof crappy and it didnt have any real beginning or end, but the pasing of the story was so great, i was satisfied. Also, the charecters were kindof 2 dimentional, and not very developed, yet for some reason, i grew attached to them (maybe its because the FPS element was so smooth and immersive i grew into my charecter)
THe NPCs were done very well,

And Finally (i dont think most FPS games have this exept for maybe duke nukem or the original MoH)
The humor. npcs in MoH sometimes say funny things and joke around and this atmosphere gives the game a more lighthearted feeling.

Its a good thing they are making a new MoH soon

I didn't know there was such a thing as "death-streaks"?

Yeah, one of my favourite lines from BF3 was when we were running from a T-90 and lived. One guy was like "everyone good?" "I'm good" "I'm good" "I'm good" "Dude that was a T-90 and I survived, I'm more than good, I'm freakin' amazing!".

Allied assault is the best war game ever made, and that ever will be made

And the 2010 one sucked (Look, yellow... YELLOW)

its from the 2010 one. I didnt like the multiplayer much, but yes, the gunplay was very good, and if it werent for that the unlocks <atleast in the beta> was EXTREMELY slow, i would probably have bought it

I am very impressed with Battlefield 3 multi-player, there is too much going on to explain why.

I recommend anyone to try it, if you can't get into it then just persevere for 4-5 hours and it will all start to become clear and your entertainment for the next few months will be taken care of

I like the battlefield vs cod debate as long as people don't take it too seriously, I can't speak for MW3 but the others don't come close to Battlefields multi-player imo.

So it's strange to us Battlefielders who can't understand the cod hype. I put some of it down the the fruit machine like addictive game-play, kill-streaks upon kill-streaks hitting that reward button in your brain, it can get addictive. For me though, it does not feel right hiding in a corner getting kill after kill with some ai helicopter, still a good game though, all those fans can't be wrong

Havent got far in BF3 yet, so i didnt get to that part but from what i heard, the humor in BF3 was nice. But playing it right after finishing MoH was tourture. There wasnt enough control flexibility, you couldnt look out of a corner (many FPS have that i couldnt believe BF3 didnt have that)
Then the 2010 Moh had this nice feature if you are sprinting and you crouch, you will slide on the ground. I found this very useful when i was shot at and needed to hide behing a small rock.
another thing in MoH, friendly npcs actually helped you and many times when i was cornered by 3 guys while reloading a mashine gun (the kind with a ribbon- very long reload) i thought i was dead, Then friendlys caught up to me and distracted the enemies giving me enough time to reload. This was not scripted, these guys saved my ass many times troughout the game.
In BF3, your friends dont seem to care about you that much.

I know it was underrated because of MW2. and i really hate this kindof thing because many good games get buried by bigger titles. For example, i recentley discovered this old game called Advent rising. it came out at the same time as Halo which buried Advent rising (thats why almost no one heard of the game) When i played it i thought.... WTF? Halo sucks compared to this in almost every way! the story, the gameplay the interesting charecters i even found the graphics a bit better than halo Advent Rising didnt have mutiplayer which is i thing another reason it died which really sucks because it was supposed to be a trilogy.

I hate these war game battles, but i do prefer Battlefield and Medal of Honor to COD. To be honest, what i said the other day about COD was a bit... Erm... off. I was just hyped up because i had just got BF3 the day before. The thing that really turns me off from COD is it's fanboys, most of them are 8 or 9, either that or act like it. Also, these aggravating darn stunts these idiots set up like the "360 Quick scope". Or these silly variations to these matches such as "Quick scoping only", or "Stunt kills only". I had a friend who participated in these games and whenever you didn't participate with the game they threatened and cussed, or kicked you out of the game. Pointless things such as that got really widespread and i just decided that i won't be a part of it and sold it to pre-order Skyrim.

i dont really like multiplayer for some reason. i dont know why, but i never really get into them. Single player games have a lot more immersion to it i guess
