Quote: "Should have got a PSP...I bought the DS while telling myself "It'll pick up" but lets face it - PSP has the coolest games. PSP got GTA, SOCOM, Battlefield 2, Daxter, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider...and we got, Animal Crossing and a bunch of N64 games. Beh."
Well we don't have Battlefield 2, but we do have Syphon Filter Dark Mirror.
Just be like me, get both. I mean, Splinter Cell is okay, but not worth writing home about. I mean, it seems great, which it is, but isn't for casual gamers. I mean, the camera and multiplayer both suck.
Yeah, we do have GTA, but who cares? I mean, I certainly don't and I have both a PSP and DS.(Got DS Yesterday)
Also, I don't know about Tomb Raider, yet, but Daxter is, okay. It's fun and all and good thrills, but, it's just... I don't know. I mean, don't sweat not having a PSP. I mean, I am very grateful for mine, as well as very satisfied, but just wait for a price drop or buy the core system. I mean, the core is not bad. Since the $250 USD version has a cheap crappy case and 32 megabyte memory stick, and since both aren't worth $50, plus the headset, you should just by the core system.
However, when you do buy a PSP, buy:
Syphon Filter Dark Mirror-ONLY, if you play online, singleplayer is good, but online is the justification
Splinter Cell - Is great and all, but don't buy just for multiplayer. A few missions have exceptionally high replay value, *cough*prison level*cough* but I should have waited for a price drop
SOCOM - Evenly matched multiplayer with Syphon Filter, but the campaign isn't as great, wait for a price drop.
As for GTA and Daxter, yeah, I guess that's the disappointments of different console versions. I mean, do extra work, like me, and buy them when you can and still have extra money left over to save. I mean, games and consoles are worth it, especially the handhelds. Oh, and I remember your previous post of knocking PSP owners. What's with that?
"Bug? That's a feature."
"Retreat? We're advancing in a different direction."
