Really nice model but it doesnt look like it is from space, more like an really old diverguy.

My site is now updated with info and a teaser about my game The Peacemakers. My blog is now ready and i have written my first contribution!

small fish, I like that character model, looks like one of those old divers with those copper helmets. Great stuff.

Well good news everyone I got the model animated in game but he holds the gun backward and I cant seem to unwrap him....bugger if anyone wants to tell me how to turn the gun around or is willing to unwrap him I will make him or her my best friend in the whole world and put them in the credits and stuff and they could use the model. Any way as for the diving silt that the idea remender Victorian!! If a Victorian inventor made a space suit what would it look like? But thanks so much for the comments I thought no one was looking anymore. and as for the guy who said it looked strange that all the men looked the same fear not there will be (if I can get the blighters working) up to 6 types of enemies they are the trooper, officer, engineer, space trooper, honour guard, knight of phobos and there may be more depends on how long they take to make. Yet again thanks for all the comment and if anyone comes across this tread and hasn’t said anything PLEASE DO SO even if it isn't all flattering I need impute to keep me going bye

I think for the most part they are good screens, but on the other hand the textures look kinda like MS paint jobs. No offense instended it just seems that there is something missing, something I liket o refer to as depth.

all my textures are just photos pasted on to walls it has its pros and con for a start it means I can get my hands on a lot and I mean a LOT of textures easily I have got 6 folders full of segment already but on the down side they do lack depth and some of the finish of painted textures and as for the train station wall do not worry they will not make it in to the final game

And this a pic from the mars space ship now I just want to point out that this is the only time I am using a original fpsc texture the reason for this is because my textures are pics I can’t seem to find a ship anywhere that will let me go in and take photos but I will make up for this by covering the level in lots of little details like the warning signs and maps and littel lights on the top of doors telling if thay are locked or not

you like it hooray thank you so much for saying so I’m so happy it makes all the effort worth while so here’s the latest stuff first is a new character called a knight of phobos he was going to be a custom model but after the hell I went though trying to get my space trooper animated I thought maybe I should just retexture a fpsc model now I am not to keen on the texture I don’t think I did a great job on the paint job but don’t worry I've nagged my sister into touching up my texture (her hobby is digital art) so I am probably going to post a new and improved knight in the next few weeks

The retexture looks good but still a little cartoony. Try to apply some effects to make it look "harder" or more metallic.

I was also working on a roof mounted camrer and gun turrent but it did not work the idea being that I would make it a enemy with an appear no gravity script and a shoot script so when it sees you it turns to look at you and fires which works just fine but if you put a roof over it it just stands there heres a pic

Here’s a pic from a wip level the idea being that for a while during The earlier levels you come under rocket barrage and when you finally get to there base you can see the rockets take off now I know I could have just placed the flying rockets as static objects but you have got to take my word for it that they are flying

I have a bit of a problem you see my levels play out like running trough a level of half life 2 by that I mean big streets followed by a house with a broken door you can go in followed by a street this means that my levels look very nice but are very short I have made three good levels but there over in minutes add that with the fact I am in constant battle with my archenemy the frame rate what I am trying to say is would everyone mind if a few levels are a bit on the short side because I cant give off a sense of being in a city with out them

milkshape for models and Photoshop and gimp for textures if your asking because your new to fpsc I would suggest you download gimp I can't recommend it enough for a free tool oh and nearly all my wall textures are photos. hope that helps

I made a level where you have to go into an construction site for a underground railway which the enemy have been using to carry munitions but the powers been cut and the only way to see in the dark is to use a x-ray/night vision helmet the miners where using to look for underground pipes anyway here’s a pic

hooray responses wonderful I almost finished all need to do is make a last level and a begging level sort out some conversation scripts retexture some guns make some cutsceans and I am done.
But that might take some time I’m not sure how I want to make my cut scenes with art work or still pictures or with animated scenes I’m looking in to it as we speak anyway now that I know that people are still looking at this thread I will carry on post pics of my latest stuff starting tomorrow with some of my guns not new models I am afraid just edited versions of the ones that came with fps creator

Sorry I haven’t answered the tread recently I had a bloody awful cold I had to come off work sneezing all the time snot everywhere felt so bad I couldn’t get down to the internet cafe on the plus side it did give me time to work on fpsc I made 2 new levels one with a cool set piece where the enemy throw down explosive barrels from the roof then a grenade but it had to be a rather sort level to stop the frame rate from dropping anyway here a another pic oh and yes Zaibatsu this is the game with your great music
