Hi all!

I remember some time ago we had a thread about the little flash game "Line Rider" where we also posted up a couple of links to different levels that had been made. Anyway, today while browsing YouTube I found this crazy urban level made in Line Rider. It's really impressive what people come up with these days!

Basically it looks like the little dude is sliding around in a city. I thought it was awesome. I wonder how long it took the person to make this...

And while I'm at it, if you wonder where to play the game, here you go:

I really like Linerider, but I tend not to make huge designs like that, must have taken ages!.

I'm itching, not just looking forward, positively itching for the DS version they were talking about, the DS is an ideal platform for it, imagine using the stylus to make levels!. I think there's a Wii version planned too.

Unconed (the guy who did that) is also a big Drupal contributer... I think I met him at the Drupal Convention in San Jose, CA (It was technically the Yahoo OSCMS 2007).

Oh yes indeed. I think the most impressive I've ever made in it is... well... some basic lines and a loop here and there Still, it's quite enjoyable. hehe.

If wonder how much success it's going to have on the different platforms. It's interesting to see that a simple concept like this can actually get enough attention to make it worth making on consoles.

Wow Those levels are amazing! Maybe I'll start using line rider again and see if I can make anything of such quality

edit: Nope, I can't, it looked easy at first as the beta 2 version has very helpful features such as flags and you can draw "Scenery lines" too but I attempted to make a loop / a simple jump and every time the studid rider 'died' or I accidently deleted a crucial part of the level It's a cool program, and I'll be able to do good stuff with it someday.

Whoa, too much time, not enough friends. Still, we all appreciate his efforts.

Too much time - maybe... Friends, I know he has some.

That guy not only has time to do that but he is also one of the top contributors and maintainers of the Drupal CMS community.

The rumours are that he has 48 hour days... True? Who knows!
