Hello all, i have made a new film it is a satirical look at right wing beliefs regarding climate change. I have posted my previous two films "The night-shift case" and "phones" on here and you guys seem to like them.

I watched it. I'm sorry to say, it wasn't very good. There were no parts that were particularly funny or insightful or revealing. You were poking fun at people that don't believe that global warming is true, but you didn't really establish anything. It was sort of like Not-Completely-Understood-Facts-vs.-Dogma. And, the treble was turned up way too high.

global warming is true, what isnt true is that humans are causing it. if you're interested in this topic and want to know more, or at least hear the other side of what I believe to be "a convenient lie" take some time out and give these two doc films a watch.

You can start here. Pay close attentiont to the agencies and scientists. Look at the data. Why aren't we still talking, worrying about Global Cooling? All the data is right there?lol

The article mentioned the alternative solutions of "melting the Arctic ice cap by covering it with black soot or diverting arctic rivers" but conceded these were not feasible.

So the scientists WANTED us to "MELT" the Artic Ice Cap. What if we had listened???

Yeah Cattlerustler, i missed you too. Good to see you're as enlightened as ever. And as we're on subject, i have known the real deal about global warming for around a decade now. Discovery channel aired some good documentaries a long time ago that explained everything about the heating/cooling fases the earth have experienced trough all time. So i got very confused when this "fad" emerged, that humans are somehow responsible for global warming alone.

I haven't seen the documentary you posted CR, but i'll take a look now.

isn't global warming caused by cow farts being released into the atmosphere ? there was a big multi-million dollar experiment on this a couple years ago where scientists studied cow farts for ozone damage..i'm not making this up, it's true.

When you have an unlimited supply of money, you can do whatever you want.

Global warming is a reality. It is as real now as it was during the last warming cycle. The earth has been in this cycle, as far a we can tell, since it existed. We, on the other hand have been around for maybe 10 to 15 thousand years. The last warming cycle was before the industrial age. There were no cars, factories, and darn few cows. Our existance in the scheme of things is infinitesimal, yet those who think that humans are the center and rulers of the universe believe that we have destoyed the world in our two seconds of existance. Really, were not all that in the big picture.

Ignorant people have no choice but to believe what they are told, and as long as ignorant people control the media, those who can not think for themselves will think what they are told to think.

I'm one of the few heretics who don't belive in global warming by CO2.

I believe were actualy in a warm phase of a Solar cycle. This is perfectly normal, there were ice ages and warm spells with much CO2 long before man came along. (the evidence is out there)

My suspicious mind suspects the goverments don't want to tell us we are running out of fossil fuels, so tell use to use less fuel by another method instead

I never understand this claim. you're telling me that the rapid global industrialisation over the last 2 centuries is having no effect on the environment? i dont believe you.

There is no way to measure what effect "the rapid global industrialisation over the last 2 centuries" is or is not having on the natural cycle of warming. Anyone who tells you that there is a way to measure it is lying to you.

Surely, what we are doing is not good for the environment, but to say that we are causing global warming, when we know it was happening before industrialization, is rather foolish.

Are we accelerating the process? Perhaps, but we just don't have the data to make that claim. Certainly we're not helping, but the hype is crazy. The globe is not just a rock. It has been changing, basically dying, from it's very point of inception, and it probably will continue to do so long after we are gone.

Effecting the enviroment and us causing global warming are not the same thing. Are we polluting the air and water? Yes. Are we speeding the extinction of other species? Yes. Are we causing global warming? No.

watch that first film CR posted, it is very good, based on solid science, and well worth a watch.

As soon as we see Hollywood celebrities and Al Gore getting on a boat, one has to question the motives behind. Or at least that was my impression.
