I disagree with anyone who says we have enough guns. We need some new sci-fi guns. Butters was working on an awesome looking scifi pack, but that seems to have fallen behind now.

Chainsaw, Yea that would be really cool. I saw a mad max weapon pack on renderosity, it looked very cool, If TGC was ever to do a another weapon pack, and we sure have a lot of them, a Mad Max post apocalpse, what was that game, fallout, something like that would be cool, or a sci fi guns pack, I can imagine with dx10 they will need those.

But if someone in the community did a weapon, a chainsaw would be great.

If you had that, you would need $500,000 after Lucas Arts sues your butt.

Umm... yeah, like Lucas Arts would allow that. Think about it, fans making star wars games and then selling them. I don't think so. Not without 50% profit of every game sold with the pack and TGC wouldn't be able to keep track of every fpsc EVER made with the pack.

Fans making their own levels with a star wars pack would fall under the license, but Selling them wouldn't. That would have to be taken care of by themselves with Lucas Arts. Limited license for use. Not a difficult concept to put into action, just a hard one to get accepted by Lucas Arts.

I admit it does end up being a pipe dream though.

But what is the point of selling a pack if the people who buy it can't make the games they sell?

My model pack idea is an animal pack. To turn our game to a real living FPS I think we need animals. (Innsects, mammals, fishes, ancient animals like dinosaurs, raptors)

Hello, I'm new to fpsc. I just purchased all the model packs except for 5,6, and the western front/cobble village sets. I love the model packs.

Model Packs i would like to see would include the following:

A Far Cry like Model Pack: Palm Trees, Grass, Lookout Tower w/stairs, flora, different sizes of hills(grass, dirt), other trees, vines, bushes, and tiki torches. Also fallen trees that can be jumped over.

A Standby Character Model Pack: Expanding upon, I think it was Model pack 3 or 4 with all the extra characters, but more of the male citizen in the leather jacket. Kids, Fully Clothed Women, Men of various ages and various races and various everyday clothing, with scripts that accompany pedesterian walking.

Climb and Acces Model Pack: I know I've seen the ladder script, but more formal support would be cool. Ladders, climbable vines, stairs that span over two floors (two grid boxes instead of one), and include some full segement breakable glass. Also, jumppads like the ones found in Quake 3.

Skybox Model Pack: Just a variety of outdoor scenery. 50 skyboxes to choose from would be cool.

Everyday Living Model Pack: Structures around people everyday: a wooden porch, gazebo, Martha Stewart model for instant fragging (only she wouldn't die and would laugh at you when trying to frag her), bigger sheds, traffic lights and poles, television sets, regular computer desktop terminals, bigger couches, beds, arcade machines, pool tables with dynamic pool balls, disco ball, a variety of different books for a library. Grand bookshelves, overhead fans,

Enemy Model Pack: Ninjas, Men in Black suits, Godzilla, large spiders, rich people, samurais in white robes, enemies that know karate and have a yellow belt (Yellow because they suck). Large venus fly traps that can't move but can eat you if you get close to them. Goblins, Orcs, Knights, a few bums, angry mob, suicide bomber, dogs, ravens, Demons, Robots, Large spider webs, werewolf and aliens. This might have to be divided into 2 or more packs.

I would be willing to pay for each of the above model packs.

I don`t aggree with a pack containing kids! I mean, there are strange people in the world. But I woulkd like an other Charackterpack with some alternative Charackters, or just animals... A Sheep, a Cow, a Horse (For western themed games), a chicken...

I wanna say, i am pretty advanced in athmospheric mapdesign, and adding a crow hows flying away to a backyard would be pretty nice!

Its my Freedom, Its my Duty, Its my War!

Quote: "I don`t aggree with a pack containing kids!"

I don't.There are kids in the real world and there should be kids in video games if the developer wants to reflect that realism.
This basically comes down to the same issue as the fireman Bond made and gave away a while back.
It's not putting the kids and/or the fireman in the game that would be the issue but how you use them.
Using a fireman for a fire scene would be okay by some whereas whacking him probably would raise the ire of some people.
In the end models aren't the issue but how the developer uses them.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

Request

Does anyone have a half-height wooden balcony, a bit like this: http://www.tourisminternet.com.au/Bwcolb20.JPG? I have an idea for a competition with My Audio Pack as the prize.

Taking a break... Be back soon.

How about an abandoned city pack (like lukes, but official), with beds, trash, broken stuff, rubble, rusted objects, buildings...

And for gods sake a fpsc version of the ww2 media pack II for darkbasic!

IT'S FIVE-YEAR MISSION, TO EXPLORE STRANGE NEW WORLDS, TO SEEK OUT NEW LIFE AND NEW CIVILIZATIONS, TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE.

what I want to see is monsters, what I want right now is creatures like in the aliens movie, or monsters bent over, proper monsters, like a cthulhu monster all twisted, as in not humanoid.

Ok I got two ideas: The INFECTION Model pack, and the AVP model pack. The Infection pack would include 0 legged aliens, blood worms, tremors, and a bug spray gun. The AVP pack (Alien vs. Predator) and would every creature and item from the movie.

Lol you must feel dumb reading this.

A full on Horror Pack, like Model Pack 3 + 4. Something that maybe cost ÂŁ19.99 but would contain at least 400 entities, segments and characters.

Was going to take a break... But I missed FPSC!

That's a pretty tall order for under $20, Nicky. Even with multiple sales, I don't think the artist would see a significant return on time spent making it.

Ok, maybe 400 was being a bit over zealous but you get the idea.

Edit: actually, it would be more like $34 - ÂŁ19.99

I have an awesome idea I'm sure (or hope) no one has posted about before...

What does a normal 20th century house need? A TOILET!

Lol so I was wondering if anyone out there ever made a model pack on a toilet with shower/basin/potty etc...

Just an idea ^^

don't anybody flame me for this if it's already been said b/c there's no way im reading 3 pages of posts .. but i think there should be a really neat medieval pack, medieval swords, bows(arrows too), medieval hands to go with it(like shiny silver armor hands or somethin, or black), and POSSIBLY an equippable(?) shield along with the sword.... and throwing knives. something along those lines i'd really like to see

Some of those ideas aren't even possible in FPSC.

And Jon Fletcher is making a fantasy pack.

3?! Dude, this is page 7.

And both Jon Fletcher and Bond1 were making fantasy packs last I knew, but I think Bond got a little sidetracked with MP17.

What does everyone new to the forums need to do? SEARCH! Had you done that, you'd have seen that, not only does MP2 have a toilet, but as IW2G pointed out, there was even a freebie.

I like characters like in the game Freedom Fighters, like rebels and insurgents. Another modern-day character/entity/segment pack would be nice.
