It's funny how Grandma or Sep can say something in 5 words that's more profound than anything Yodaman or Cheesecake or Omega can in 500.

Quote: "One can dream of owning a real moat one day, eh?"

I had similar work being done once, and we received one of those junk mail adverts in the post which said
'Dear Mr Jones,
This insurance will keep your house safe,
Even if it doesn't have a moat.'

It was clearly not aimed at us (it was pre-generated) but it was quite cool how it even got our name right.

Happiness is being the zombie that wasn't quite dead yet and just found out that omega is out of ammo.

Oh, yea;
Fifteen minutes into the flight from Kansas City to Toronto, the captain announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, one of our engines has failed. There is nothing to worry about. Our flight will take an hour longer than scheduled, but we still have three engines left."

Thirty minutes later the captain announced, "One more engine has failed and the flight will take an additional two hours. But don't worry ... we can fly just fine on two engines."

An hour later the captain announced, "One more engine has failed and our arrival will be delayed another three hours. But don't worry ... we still have one engine left."

A young blonde passenger turned to the man in the next seat and remarked, "If we lose one more engine, we'll be up here all day!"

The average smoker spends $1500 per year on cigarettes. That amount of money could feed 16 impoverished third-world children for an entire year.

I read this five minutes ago, and have yet to stop facepalming.

Quote: "ZOMBIE."

As in, not dead OR alive. Zombies are never dead, they are UNDEAD, and you can't kill them, just destroy them. They'll still be undead.

Besides, even if I DO run out of ammo, I still have my trusty chainsaw, AND machete!

Zombies can die. Zombies take over what once was dead giving the body semblance of life. Though the original person in said body is dead, it is now a new being, therefore, it can die.

noooo...
Zobies do not "take over" a dead body. A zombie is created in a number of ways, but in pretty much all situations, the person becomes a zombie before they die, by being bitten/attacked by existing zombies, deing infected with some kind of disease or something that reacts when they are about to die... The only way for a zombie to ever be "dead" is if an already-dead body is enchanted by a dark wizard, necromancer, what have you. However, in this case, is is more of an "artificial" zombie, and not a natural born one.

I stand on the edge of this abyss. The unknown lies below. Everything tells me ill die, every sense screams stop.
But I have no need to trust them.
That first step, that nothing it’s hard to put to words but she compels me. I fall towards the mystery of this world and embrace it with all my heart
I said I would follow you to the end of the earth.
And I have.
My sweet, I will rest again next to you.

Last night's memoir,

I keep a running journal of these. Thier quite good for insperation. Especially when drawing though I can only save a shadow of my insperation in this small book, but that is enough for me.

No that is completely wrong. The person dies before they become a zombie. What zombie movies do you watch? If the person became a zombie before he/she died, then at one point it would be an alive person/zombie which is clearly impossible.

HHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Yeah RIGHT, Jenkins!
I know all about you! You FLUNKED Zombiology school in your FIRST YEAR! I was in the same class as you, but I was in the advanced placement group.
Remember? You answered "fire" to the question "What is the best way to kill a zombie?", you nitwit! You NEVER use fire to kill a zombie, you only use fire to dispose of dead, UNINFECTED bodies that may become infected!
Quote: "The person dies before they become a zombie."

That is sometimes true, but not usually. Most of the time, when a victim(s) is attacked by a zombie(s), it goes down like this:
1) The zombie(s) attack
2) Victim(s) attempts to defend him/her/their self.
3) The victim(s) is overwhelmed by the number and/or persistence of the zombie(s).
4) The zombie(s) bite and/or scratch the victim(s), spreading the zombification to the victim(s).
5) At this point, the victim(s) is/are officially a zombie(s), even though he/she/they never died.

Do NOT challenge my knowledge of zombie lore!

You cannot turn into a zombie if you're not already dead.
Quote: "
1) The zombie(s) attack
2) Victim(s) attempts to defend him/her/their self.
3) The victim(s) is overwhelmed by the number and/or persistence of the zombie(s).

5) At this point, the victim(s) is/are officially a zombie(s), even though he/she/they never died."

1-4 are obviously correct but 5 isn't. When you are infected by the zombie that does not make you a zombie right away. The virus kills you and then takes over the dead body.

But back to the main point... You can kill a zombie because it is alive. Zombies spread through the zombie virus. The virus is what controls the body. The body is not alive but the virus is. So by removing the head or destroying the body's brain, you kill the virus, therefore, killing the zombie.

You obviously didn't pay any better attention to my post than you did to Mr. Schooklemier back the the Institute for Zombie Studies.
A living victim that becomes zombified is alive until the infection enters their bloodstream, at which point they begin to go from living to undead. They DO NOT, at ANY point, become dead. The change from living to undead can take anywhere from 30 seconds to three days, depending on the strength and nature of the particular viral strain.
The virus does not kill you, nor does it "take over your body".
A zombie virus does not control the zombies. It is only a virus. Its not a mind control serum, its more like the rabies.
It INFECTS, not controls, the host victim. It makes them into the seemingly-mindless, decaying, flesh-craving, undead creature known as a zombie. It amplifies aggression in the victims brain, and shuts down almost all conscious thought and decision making, leaving only the basic instincts of a zombie;
Feed
Kill
Infect

Quote: "You can kill a zombie because it is alive."

That has got to be the single stupidest statement ever made by anyone. zombies are NOT alive. They are undead. You, sir, are a buffoon of the highest order.

Just to reiterate, you cannot kill a zombie any more than you can kill a kitchen sink. There are 4 classifications as pertaining to life; Living, dead, nonliving, and undead.

Living things are things like humans, birds, fish, etc... Things that are living.

Dead things are things that USED to be living things, but are no longer living.

Nonliving things are objects that are neither living nor dead, never have been living or dead, and never will be living or dead. Things such as rocks, houses, and metal objects are all nonliving.

Undead things are things that were once living, but are now neither living nor dead, but are also not nonliving. These are things such as zombies and vampires.

I always thought zombies were just re-animated dead bodies. But, I also thought that there was some sort of virus that zombies carry that can be passed on to the living that causes them to zombify. Then, the virus slowly kills the living being and ultimately transforms them into a re-animated dead body, AKA Zombie.

look under your bed...

There are tow types of zombies; natural and artificial.
Natural zombies are created by infection from existing zombies, and become zombies before they actually die.
Artificial zombies are created when a wizard, necromancer, mad scientist, or other powerful being reanimates a dead body.
