Ive chosen creative computing for uni, Other than the more than amazing grants i will get, I can walk stright into a job from it since the qualitfication is well sought after.
I will be doing,
Level 1
Examination of computers as a creative device; this will focus on 2D graphics and animation and will include elements of planning for digital media and design.
Level 2
Core areas of study are web development, the basics of 3D modelling and animation, and the potential of computer-based education for the innovative delivery of subject material.
Level 3
Students broaden and deepen their skills and knowledge in core areas by studying, for example, a course in advanced web development techniques, and also undertaking specialist courses which could involve a particular project, such as the creation of a short 3D animated film. This would involve elements such as pre-production and planning, as well as post-production techniques.
An important element at this level is the Research and Development project, which enables you to focus on a particular aspect of Creative Computing, for example research into modelling natural phenomena on a computer as a work of art in its own right, the use of robotics in the classroom, or pursuing a specific work-based project in which various aspects of creative technologies are used within an industry/classroombased setting.
I can also take my masters degree thier ^_^
