I think that rule only matters to kids. If you can legally drink in a pub in the UK you must be 18. Therefore no-one really cares anymore. Sorry

Didn't it? I'll try again...and I'll try to log in for you and see if it works, if it does, I'll email you yet another password...

This certainly is strange, I never had problems with the previous version of drupal CMS...

[edit]
I tried to log in as you and it didn't work either, but I fixed the problem and you should be able to log in with the password I gave you.

I'm still trying to get used to the backwards thread layout. Never liked that sort of thing. Mainly because you see the newest post first. If you have 5 to read then you can see the outcome before seing the 5th one. Really don't like that. Plus never been a fan of the old post a reply to an individual post. Again you have to search for the new posts that might exist against an older post. Not fun and can easily be missed.

Oh, and anyway to show the last post against the new post you are doing? I click new post then forget what I was going to say, or want to paste something from the previous post.

Cheers

The forums over at byond I think have the best layout.

http://developer.byond.com/forum/index.cgi?action=message_list&forum=7

They have the thread highlighting like here, they've got reply to individual posts, and the option to view posts as a thread or by message. And they highlight in the message listing what messages have been viewed or not.

It's got the best of TGC's forums mixed with super simplicity

@Seppuku: whoops forgot to post to say that I'd got it working.

There's a link on the site which sends you a one time login in to your email address, then you go on and change the password yourself. Ah well I'm sure I'll be able to sort it out.

And I agree with Dazzag, but after all this hassle I'm not sure if I want to change again.

Yeah that seems to be the only problem...how about people hit the reply button on the last post...I'll see if I can remove the 'add new comment' button, but the only way to avoid confusion is through that method.

Must be the server, the host I am using are good, aside from some minor inconveniences, once in a while (not very often really) you can't access your site and they have restrictions on their MySQL databases (Hence we can't have any avatars)

[edit]
This is a long shot but...

Cool Guy Jordan, I notice you've made two accounts on my site, I will assume you will find it impossible to login because the two email addresses you use appear to be fake. I am posting rather than emailing as I can't find it anywhere. The reason why you need to put your email address in is so you can receive your password...

Now, by putting your real email address in shouldn't be a problem, it's not public and I am the only one capable of viewing it...if you're still skeptical, then send me an email and I get set you a password and you can change it when you log in.

Hope you receive this (If anybody has Jordan's email, it would be cool if you just quote me and send it to him)

Matt Rock
Keo C

This is an invitation to attend the new clinic at
http://cogito.66ghz.com/cogito/?q=forum
where tha_rami and me and other esteemed shrinks will continue to
handle all your problems.
This is because the clinic on Apollo has been closed.
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=117310&b=2

My apologies to the mods for my having started another turd quality thread. I promise not to start any more undesirable threads on Apollo.

Please do attend the opening of the new clinic, as refreshments and free Valium will be served to all guests.
Matt and Keo, we will be attending to your problems as soon as the
clinic re-opens.

Maybe Jeku needs some counselling too... He was muttering something like ridiculous in a shrinks' clinic and then he locked the clinic with everyone inside.

Geeze, I've lost my cogito password. Seppuku could you please send me a new password on my e-mail.
Meanwhile I hope tha_rami will do the honours and re-open the clinic as soon as possible as some of the patients are getting restless queueing outside the cogito clinic.
I'm itching to give some much needed advice to Keo about the food he has eaten, but I guess I can't do it here. So Keo, don't fret, its not a serious problem and we'll handle it as soon as I get my password or tha_rami opens the clinic, whichever is earlier.

ALL RIGHTEEE FOLKS!! The new shrink clinic is open and there are free drinks for all. Do come by the droves. The more the merrier.

Emails are for people who can't log in - I just email their new password so they can log in...

Anyway, for questioning me, I will changed your password to 'fish' so everybody can know...so people can log in as you...

(it would be amusing if some idiot actually tried logging into your account using the password fish)

If you need a new password Grandma, I'll send you one - don't worry, I won't change it to fish, that would be very careless of me.

NOWAI!

As for changing my pass to fish, well, that wouldn't really change anything since that was my previous one aswell. Only this time, everyone knows. Thanks alot! Now i have to change my pass to sakana, or aquatic vertebrates.
