Alright chaps. Well, I think I'll hold onto it until it's finished. It shouldn't be too long. I just need to find 1 day to polish off game mechanics, like entering a high score, and then a week to make and play test the levels. What I may do is get everyone to feedback on the levels and tweak them accordingly, so there will be a play-test beta of sorts.

@tha_rami - Yeah, I've made landing/take-off easier already. Gil is a lamer. I never crashed. One of the issues was the placement of installations around the runway which meant you had to dive in at the last moment to make it. I'll be changing that too.

Anyway, still busy with other things. Will return to this eventually.

Gil is a lamer... I like someone saying that. Hmm, say that again, will ya?

And if you're doing a new vid, hit a friggin tree .

Looking good Fallout, as usual with your projects.

Can't wait to play it, I'm gonna order myself some flying goggles ready for it.

Fallout! Wake up! Hello! You aren't going to get this game this far and then only have a lamer like Gil play it!?

Alright homies. Will be returning to this project probably in 2 weeks. I have just moved house and haven't got an internet connection yet, plus sorting out other bits and pieces. The project isn't dead yet.

I believe I've never commented on this one yet. Looks great Fallout, I remember playing a similar game ages ago where you could play as one of four countries (with different planes), can't remember the name though. I look forward to finally actually play one of your games Good luck and keep it up!

Ping you may. Here's an interesting thing - currently my house (I'm renting) is being reposessed, since our landlord stopped paying his mortgage. So there are a few things still holding me back from this project. It's currently one thing after another. However, it's still not forgotten, as you can tell by the fact I'm still checking this thread.

If the worst comes to the worst, I'll release it as open source and let you guys finish it.

thanks for the response, fallout. i was checking for a pulse

things still sounds too busy for you, and i, for one, would rather wait however long it takes for you to be able to complete the project vs your releasing it as open source/as is.

here's to your being able to catch your breath soon!

Fallout, can you tell me how you got the units in the Operation Desert Fallout game to shoot bullets and missiles.
I'm really stuck on that part.

@Master13

That's quite a lot to explain quickly in a forum post. I did release a simple mech engine demo which has machinegun bullets firing. All the sourcecode is provided, so that may help you. Have a look here.
