No scripting needed here. Just make sure you have an audio file in the "audiobank" folder.

Make a sound zone put "sound1" as the sound you have. There you go.

haha, ok, I'll remember that for next time.
Also, would you be able to help me with another issue of mine?
Bascially, during this training in the game, I need to pick up a radio, so that the instructor can talk at me.
#I want to be able to have an image of a radio as a hud, to show that it is part of my inventory. The bit I am having trouble with is the script which adds that HUD to my screen, and then only once I have picked up the radio, does the instructor begin talking.
I cannot seem to get the right command lines, so was wondering if you could help?

Thanks

This has been done, search for "HUD" in this board. For him to only talk when you get the radio, I'd put the soundzone on top of the radio...Oh, just so you know, I have not learned the FPSC scripting language(yet), so I can only help you so much.

BB2, put up some text that the instructor might say and I'll try and do a radio voice for you if you want.

Nickydude, thank you so much! Im cr*p at voice overs, and I even tried to use a text-to-speech program. Th problem is, the voices cant say 'training' properly!
By the way, are you american? If so, that would be a great help, as Im a Brit, and my american impersonation is appalling.

If you give me your email add, i'll send you a text document if you like?

Many thanks

In fact, stuff it, I'll post it on here.

If there is anyone else who would like to do some voice overs for my game, then I would be more than willing to accept any offers.

Thats pretty, good actually! In fact, I was thinking, could you do a few voice-overs for a Brit in the game? I dont know what for, but I am forming a few ideas at the moment.
