You play Connor, a rogue / mercenary (think Han Solo) who ferry's cargo between star systems in the distant future, no questions asked. You been ferrying cargo between Celtrus III and Rigel VII for quite some time when, on one of your runs, you notice a large space craft that wasn't there a few days previously.

After a few more days ferrying cargo between the two planets, you have a gut feeling 'that there isn't something quite right' with the large craft, flying closer than usually you make out the name...

Event Horizon

Asking about it on the planets, you're told that a ship by that name disappeared 17 years ago, rumour has it that it was testing out some new sort of warp drive or teleport or dimension jumping, no one is quite sure but it disappeared and know one knows where it went.

Surmising that you could claim reward money for it, and wondering what you could salvage from the ship you make your way towards it, only to find it strangely deserted. You head for the landing bay, which has the force shield down, and land in the hanger.

You are about to become the one thing you didn't want...

... the saviour of mankind.

Looks reminiscent of the first level of Halo. Is this x9 or x10?

Nice I will be watching this one. If you go to fpsfree.com and download the invisible wall barrier you could scale up the decal to fit your bay door. Good luck!

AI: It's X9

starmind: I do have an invisible wall there, never thought about scaling the decal, thanks.

Is this based on the film?

In as much as the name of the ship, it disappearing and then reappearing. Other than that, no.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't like it as much as your other games. It just doesn't look great.

I like it, a lot. Keep it up, but one comment, in the loading bay(pic 2), I'd add some more scenery(boxes, barrels etc.)

Scifi isn't really mean scene (in FPSC terms), I'm more a horror man.

I didn't put anything there purposely as space craft fly in / out but I might place a few around the walls.

I used Paint.NET, which is completely free.

lOOKS GOOD! Kinda has a halo fell to it. Try to add more entitys to the middle of the rooms instead of just putting them in the corners and agenst walls.

looks good though Im intrested in how this will turn out.

Nickydude I made a dockbarrier for a swdf remake. You can use it in you game if you would like. It has two decals with different transparencies. Here's the link to it.

Well there’s no doubt that you have level designee skills. But remember it’s the little things that give a game environment. Like a few custom models on that table in screen 3.
