I have decided to bring back my old FPNS competition. It is basically the same rules as the last time.

Examples:

Rules:
-only one level
-must follow a basic story
-no shooting
-no more than 10 stories in height
-custom media is allowed (and you will be scored more points)
-you are allowed to have challenges but no weapons
-not only kids games, just no killing. See the silent depths example
-no weapons at all, not even to smash stuff
-enemies cannot have weapons, only enemies with melee attacks

Starting date is now
Ending date is May 15 12:00 AM (Canadian, Atlantic time)

Valid entries:
-Escape to Free Land
-The Cure
-Decay

Prizes, the winner will get the first choice, second and third get to pick from what's left:
-Heltor's Train Pack
-Gamecore Assets Pack
-Audio Assets Pack


Judges:
-darimc
-Puppy Of Kosh
-Bloodhound 2


You will be marked out of 10 on:
-level design
-entity placement
-lighting
-frame rate
-extras (custom media, segments, etc.)

Valid entries will be posted in this thread. If you break one of these rules, your entry will not be considered valid.

Example entry:

Name: Jimmy's adventure
Author: Jimmy
Story: Jim likes chocolate bars, he goes to search for money to buy some of his favorite chocolate bars, chocolate-choco-chocoliscious-cholate bar!
Download: www.filehost.comjimmysadventure

Also the winner will get their choice of either a custom winner avatar or signature. It will say something along the lines of "1st place winner of the 2nd FPNS contest!"

Sorry, that's not allowed. But you could make it so that you can through a ball at a billboard target as long as it's an entity and not a weapon.

Yeah, you might wanna extend the due-date a little, maybe to June or something. It should help competition grow and improve.

I could possibly make a bunch of blood textures and donate them as a prize. I'll give you some word on it when I'm done.

EDIT: Could I donate a prize and join the contest, too?
EDIT2: Can other enemies have guns, but you are unable to pick them up?

That sounds like a decent prize. You can enter and donate I suppose. You can't have enemies shooting, but you could have a melee enemy.

I have a question, can I make it so you have to use tools or something, like to open a door? It wouldn't be shooting anyone.

I don't use games as prizes in my comps. Because 98% of games on this forum never get finished.

No, you can't use anything held as a HUD weapon.

In my game, you are sleeping, and you have one adventure...
There is flying boxses and everything else. You must build stairs with boxses and etc.

And expodable flying phones from ww2!

No weapons at all, anything that can be held and not dropped, can't be used.

btw: for 1st prize one of the prizes should be Free Custom animated character, you should also have one or two of the fpsc model packs up there. BTW: Is anyone els planing to enter?

No one has offered to make a custom character or offer an official model pack. I doubt someone will buy a model pack just to give away in this competition.
