Well as for me, I'm done. Reqs of this contest changed far to much for my taste. What you say in your "rules" and what you say depending on how your day goes at the moment changes to much. I did what the contest asked and posted my entry on the Ozark forums, and here, which was what was asked in the rules that was laid out in the first post.

Quote: "- Models must be textured."
Started to fold when
Quote: "No, we are judging the model itself"
. was said. Only to be replaced by
Quote: "You don't have to texture it but it needs to be in DX form"
.

Being proceeded of course by my all time favorite for a flip flop on a contest rule of:
Quote: "All content must be created by you - no "borrowing".-"
being replaced by.
Quote: "Since there was no official rule that stated that textures have to be made by the person entering the contest we are going to allow people to use textures that they got from Google, etc.
I apologize to everyone for the confusion."

I still never got what part of "ALL" didn't include the texture being made by the contestant. Cause honestly...if I'd thought it was the model only and not a contest for the complete weapon, since it said must be textured, I wouldn't have done that entry. I mean really, who cares what things look like in a grayed state....We all only judge how good stuff looks textured.

Guess what I'm saying man is the contest was far to unclear and my advice would be to not roll another one. Let the mods or someone more wordy conduct any future ones so things are set up a little better.

Belive me I know It took longer to write this then send an email. It's the point. I did exactly what was asked and stuff kept changing. I then had to send you my stuff in an email? Come on man....get it together. I'm unwilling to participate under those circumstances so I'm burning my bra here even if I sag latter on.

Good luck with the contest and to all you guys that entered.

Locrain,
I apologize for all of the confusion but I don't think you should withdraw your entry.
While everything you said is true you have done entered and if you win something you might as well take the prize you have coming.
I have seen all of the models myself and we are working as quickly as possible to get together and make a decision.
I can't blame you for being angry. You have every right to be.

Dude,
I'm not angry. I'm just making a stand. If you guys got my model and stuffs in the bag thats fine.

I'm just not doing another thing concerning this contest. I like all you judges and I hope you don't think I'm mad cause I'm not. I may over explain things but thats only so my point is well understood and not confused.

And I've got to say win or loose I did this to be a part of things around the forum. I'm sure I could model any prize I may or may not win......ask inovater(OK a joke to show ya craps light.....no maddness here).

The heck with it; just to show there's progress....and because I still haven't gotten to see the actual meshes yet:

1st--Bomb Betty/Wehtam

2nd--Mech Suit/Locrain

3rd--Weapon Pack/Blitzmaker

Those are MY votes; now let's see how the other judges vote.
