For the sake of all those without that old guide to the galaxy, could you post up page 127?

He did capitalize these sentences - and they don't contain even a single typo. Think he copy/pasted this one.

Isn't that considered ripping? Can we ban him now?

True, but almost anyone posted "it is me!!!", and those who did post that could either be doing that because they find it a stupid thread (I might add, I agree, but I like the concept ) - or because they want the suspicion lifted of them or something. Personally, I think it's kinda dumb to visit such a thread with your real-life account, lol. Doesn't that raise suspicion?

Just had a flash of revelation!
What if it is Batvink or another mod and Batvink is covering for them!?

WHY THA RABI. WHY? WHY?!!!

You know, I think his new clue is scary. The first lines almost make it seem as if he is referring to me with the mushroom thing. My address would translate to "mushroomroad 131". (No I don't live in Super Mario Land). Maybe he likes me?

And in his first clue he said something about nightly clues. Doesn't that mean that where he is it would be night now? Where is it night at the time he posted? Asia?

But how would he know my address?

I'll have a look at the rest. His typing doesn't make it seem easy to assume that he's smart enough to hide his identity.

He's either someone who can't type correctly, or someone who can, disguising themselves.

And That Rabi? Ha ha.

I think Diggsey either outsmarted the guy who made this thing, or he's just joking with us. It sounds very, very farfetched to me . But is sounds kind of correct to me as well .

But let's hear what DrewG has to say

Yeah, it does sound Very Very Very far-fetched, I have to agree. A bit clutching at straws like. How could anyone actually see the clue, then know the exact method of how to work it out? I mean, in that order as well!

It must be Diggsey.

Yeah, maybe it's the rabi. or the rami. or tha rami. or tha_rami.

Jeez Diggsey, did you just make that up, wiht the ASCII thing, or is there a way to make it fit for each name?

He does seem to like me, if that mushroomhint is a hint to my address.
What would he mean with blade of chester? What is chester? Some sort of wood?

Look what I've started! I mean we could have left it at the newb calling tha_rami 'the rabi', but no I had to use it to mock him and now everyone does it...cool I started a trend, woot I must be hip!

I think the mannerisms and the way the person posts shows that it's none of what I call the veteran members, it rules out me, rami, Grandma, Benjamin, Dazzag, the Mods etc. so I'm going to say DrewG as a likely suspect, it seems similar to his postings, except that and he's trying to throw us off by being weird.

With somebodies apparent working out of the first clue, I think I'd agree with DrewG, but where does this whole Hitchhikers stuff and Roman stuff come into it all? Was there an Emperor called Drew Gigantius and Gigantius was mentioned in Hitchhikers? Now this is me making it up, but if it it's him I don't get the other clues. The Dazzag pointing me to Romans can only suggest to me Aikicat as his real name is Roman...Or...

Wasn't the a member called Julius Ceaser not so long ago? I think it could be him, but to be honest, not a member I saw post very often and no doubt isn't an immediate memory for everyone who's trying to work this blood thing out.

Hey Seppuku, have you seen, there are 3 clues at this moment.

I've been thinking, the way he signs is the key he says. So, 15-4 and that long sentence about wisdom and looks are keys. But keys to what I've no idea. 15-4 pointed to some guy with 15 in his name, and Benjamin posted on 15:41 - but that all sounds too farfetched to me...

Also, I've been googling weinroth, but I found nothing. I do think that paragraph is a copy/paste, though - even if it is just because of the capital letters at the start of the sentence.

This is getting a bit of an obsession now...

Dazzag, you're creeping me out and I am Seppuku, when you creep out Seppuku you're all kinds of freak and not the kind with a rubber scarf neither...

Seems like I do not only need to act and look like a geek but to think like one too, so I'm not going to solve it. If I do, please please please worship me and label me your God, because the day when I go from an imposter to someone who is smart enough to be a geek, then a true miracle has happened - get the pope on the phone guys...I do believe I have an answer.

It's been staring at us in the face and oh God it's so obvious, haha, this is so amusing because they've been laughing at us behind out backs...Yes!

You see we've been sitting here trying to guess his forum name and the answer to the question 'who am I?' and the answer is SOOOO simple and the clues have been there throwing us off center because this person's real forum name is:

It was obvious all along! Cunning devils

Hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy, the home by the sea - I do not know of (never read the book), but the separated in two sounds lot like Zaphod (when his head splits, isn't he near the guys of the guys of the cult religion?)...then the 15-4 might be a reference to a passage in the bible of the religion in the book, (the guys who blow their noses instead of praying)

It might be farfetched, but I googled this and found that thats what they say about the apple of Adam and Eve?

Quote: "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it."

I still wonder what weinroth means. It looks like a term from something. Is it in that Guide to the Galaxy as well?

"Wein" in German means wine. Roth is usually a surname, but a fairly arcane English word "Wroth" means highly angry. If wine makes him angry, it must mean he prefers beer, and we know who that would be, and who has been pitching hints to that effect between every two swigs. But perhaps weinroth is an anagram, if any of you are good at those and want to take a crack at it.

I don't disagree with Keo...

Wow, that poem has several words that the guy used himself:
Quote: "
do ye really feel i need to answer petty guesses? cyprus? dover?
Are ye challenging me? blade of chester? or you, on the path of mushrooms?
yóu are who si being challenged.

let me tell you.

for you doom a soul once and twice. NO third time shall be accepted.

weinroth.
But the traffic cops of my mind know...
They are lurking... awaiting the moment of weakness...
When such feelings will get the best of me...

the key si who signs.

the numbers of the key are what you count. the 1th the answer the 2th your goal.

no need to search the skies for what lies beside you."

So who signs? The poet's name is "Shimon Weinroth".

This quote came up in a Google for "Blade of Chester":
Quote: "Last night, in a crowded Chester County middle school, Democrats from all corners of Chester County voted for new Democratic leadership. With a margin slimmer than a blade of Chester County grass, Michele Vaughn defeated Tom Sennett as Chairperson for the Chester County Democratic Committee, narrowly winning 166 to 164.

Vaughn, the county’s current Vice Chair said of the narrow victory: “I welcome working with everyone
"
It has 2 numbers in it. Hmm

Indeed...
Quote: "
Duality and Duplicity

there are feelings above my shoulder
in my gut and between my legs, pleading
begging to be heard, aired and viewed
cause adrenalin to flow, mouth to salivate
and my heart to throb

they are with me all the time
even more than myself,
harpies, witches, gargoyles of my body and soul
I try to keep the lid on them, boxed with good decorum
smother and opress them
instincts, affinities and hunches

but the traffic cops of my mind know
they are lurking awaiting the moment of weakness
when such feelings wll get the best of me

shimon weinroth "

You are right, it is a name, it seems. Okay, so the quote is from a poem called Duality and Duplicity. That seems to have to do something with being seperated in two. Now what?

Quote: "So who signs? The poet's name is "Shimon Weinroth"."

Yeah, or he means the sentence he signed with himself. It's from the Bible, I found (3:6). That could be 'the key', whatever that may be, or those two numbers you found (166-164?)
