grandma- you're the only satanist at TGC I believe, at least that has come here, it is sad though that so many people cannot simply tolerate or respect one another's opinions, but people are people and religion is a bunch of people unified behind an idea, there's always going to be people who argue and such.

However, we all get along right, we're all still discussing this maturely, though it has kinda gone off-topic and into an argument.

By the by, the above post may offend someone, I don't know how it would, but if so please e-mail me or just delete it, I don't want trouble.

Insert Brain Here and Grandma, have a little more respect, I didn't want people to know about my minions I hired to stir up trouble...

Well, dare I say it, there's a place for ringing people's necks over religion, religious opinions I don't think matter here, because they start a religious debate, the reason the thread was kept open was because people had to state their religion and country and nothing else...yet somehow someone debates.

The offending threads have been removed, so no need to whine, for the sake of people not complaining, it might be a good idea to edit out your post Jeku.

I love Nancy DrewG, but not insert brain here

See, this is the kind of thing we should be posting, after all, this is what the thread is all about and states so in the first message. We don't need any verbal sparring.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't shut up, quite frankly you've stirred more than anyone else; and it is really begining to get to me how irritating you are.

So I'll repeat.
Be Quiet!

Quote: "Seriously, not to go off topic, my views of all these forum members are changing, for both better and worse. I mean, never mind, but some I'd expect to not be atheist, and others not Christian, really weird here."

What sort of a comment is that?
So you like the people who are Christian and hate the Atheists?
That's exactly the kind of suggestive comment that will turn this into a flame war.
Why would someone's religion effect the way you feel about them?
Maybe that isn't what you meant but it could easily be taken that way.

Everyone is walking on thin ice now, why don't people understand that TCG don't want people arguing about religion or politics on the forums? It's not about not being able to have an opinion, this just isn't the place to express your views on those subjects.
Like BatVink said "opinion is the problem", opinions cannot be proved/disproved only argued against. It's a shame that we can't have mature arguments on the forums but the fact is that religious and political opinions carry a lot of weight (and probably history) with them and will always result in a flame-war.

[edit]
I didn't realise I wasn't on the last page so excuse me if I seem a little over-reactive.

Good, while your post didn't actually say anything bad, it was suggestive enough that people could've taken it badly.

@Noob
What are the stats now?

Sonic 91- Stop aggravating the situation or expect a ban and a vicious beatdown from us all for getting this locked, you are purposely and painfully obviously attempting to stir up trouble. Stay out of the thread if you can't speak senisbly, we use our heads before we speak, you know how sensitive of a subject this is, use some foresight next time you post.

I just follow my own path. If God is out there I've still to meet her.

You could say my self-awareness is unfolding as I live. The whole world seems more like a dream and I'm slowly waking up from the dream. Cool dream so far though!

If you think I'm only here to cause trouble, that's your opinion.

If I said anything that has aggravated anyone or anything, I'm sorry.

But I'm not here to cause trouble, and I didn't think I was causing any. That's my opinion.

Let's leave it at that.

Quote: "I am agnostic, but beginning to lean toward Rockism. Throw in a mandatory drinking rule and I'm there."

LOL there used to be one... no kidding . A rule about having one pint per week, particularly something dark. But I got into a conversation with a college professor about theology and decided to change it (he's one of the Rockists, hehe). Then I quit drinking a few years ago so it'd sort of be silly if the religion based on me had mandatory drinking. But I don't see anything wrong with drinking, though . Maybe I should make a Rockism thread on the MISoft forums and get down to writing a new "bible." This is picking up a lot more attention than I ever thought it would lol.

Bizar guy, I completely agree!

Sonic 91 Software, you are honestly making yourself look like a prat.
Your first post was the equivalent of bursting into a empty room, clouded with silence and then shouting "BE QUIET!!!!" at the top of your voice.
Your post was pointless and was only to draw attention to yourself. Just admit you were wrong! To quote your previous, analogical self : "BE QUIET!!!!".

You are being very irritating!

Besides, I think n008 may have all the data he needs. There is no harm in having an on topic discussion between the poll posts. (As long as its within the AUP, which is has been, everything it fine)

No No, that's completely opposite of what I was inferring. I never said I hate the Atheists on this forum same with Christians. I'll be honest with you, I have several good friends who are atheists. However, when people here say they're a Christian and they cuss in about every post, my views on them change. If you see what I'm saying.

^^^ And on that note, I'll have to lock this now. Just getting too personal, and people have started name-calling in other posts. We'll quit while we're ahead
