Now that Bond1 released his hands for non-commercial modelling it would be great to use them for rigging the pirate weapons as they look very *swashbuckler*. A little recoloring for darker gloves and white sleeves would do the job.

And your pack would be compatible with his sword, bow crossbow and greek fire which would fit (some more, some lesser) to a pirate scenario.

just an idea

Hey! Who said Nickydude could do all the sound effects! I don't like it! Ehehehehe!
Lol ok anyways, do you need anymore sounds, I could do them for you. But Nickydude does it so much better.
But I will try my best.

We can put anything and everything in the pack we want guys, It's ours after all. It's for all of us. I just got got the wheels turning, that's all.

So, you can post your pirate stuff here, or send it to me and I'll get it ready for installation in the pack itself.

Most important is that you all have some fun with it! "YO-HO"!

Hey cosmic, I was having problems with exporting my characters too. I was using the newest update for milkshape 1.8.5, so I went back to the good old 1.8.2 and everything works fine again. I tried 1.8.4, but for some reason the exporter was screwing up. Just a heads up, I might have a couple of models for you the would fit your pirate theme. I want to improve the textures first, since these are models from when I first started. If you are interested I will give them to you.

starmind 001: Oh really, no kidding? Hmmm, I'll need to see if I still have my earlier version floating around somewhere. When I first bought it, It was at ver. 1.7.8. That might very well be the problem. Thanks for the info.

Cool, drop me a link when you get 'em done, and I'll be glad to add them in. Thanks again.

yep, and the diamond as well. I'm also making some crowns, golden vases, and other treasure along with some chests.

I had intended to include at least 4 new characters with the pack, but don't know if I'll be able to. I cant get them to export properly from Milkshape. When I do, the animations get all screwed up. They run beutiful inside the program in animation mode. I guess I'm going to have to break open the piggy bank, and buy a new 3D app to use. I'm considering 3DS Max. But I need to think on it. 3DS Max is pretty expensive.

I may just give the models away, and if someone wants to rig 'em, and use 'em, they can.

Right now I'm working on the dock for the Pirate ship. I'll have it done this evening. I'll post some more screens tomorrow.

Cosmic,to help you with your characters do this, export your character in milkshape as half life .smd and select mesh export. That will export the mesh and bones, then import the .smd in Fragmotion and go to files-merge animation and merge with a stock character, then export as .x.That will work

Thanks djmaster, I'll give that a try at some point when I'm not loaded with other stuff. At the moment, I'm going to let General Jackson have a crack at them.

Here's the Pirate Captain. This is a remake of a mesh donated by our good friend Heltor. It still needs a little work on the texture.

Nickydude: Thanks my friend, say, did you happen to dig up a tavern clip?

In the meantime, check out this little gem from Nox Arcana!
