Oh wow, I'm really looking forward to this...

@djmaster, can't wait for the pistol and rifle! You did a great job with the sci-fi blatser. And to everyone else who is making models for this pack, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! I'd love to help out but I'm currently in a financial rut so I can't even finish my gundam models for my nephew. Sorry, cosmic

Hey Cosmic, I was just randomly making textures in the GIMP, and I thought I'd whip up something for this pack. Nothing much, two segments. Textures are also included for those people who wanna mess around.
Tell me if you like it, both were literally done in 15 minutes.
One is a grass floor, the other is the grass floor with a brick wall.
Screenshots:
Grass floor:

Grass floor and brick wall (room):

Both are seamless, for those that worry.
Download is attached, textures also included in the rar archive.
Please put this with your pack, if you want.

Your not putting that grass and wall into the pack are you? You are going to have to have some quality control otherwise its a waste of time. Id steer clear of textures, one from copyright point of view, hard to verify where its from, and two any Tom Dick or Harry with one of those awful texture generating software programs will be throwing its 'creations' at you, either that or whatever freeware paint program they have indulged in for the time it would take to go brew a cup of tea.

Ive got a small window of time free, I was going to get those 'pirate' skyboxes done in the short time I have available, but if tat is being put in this ill pass on adding to packs as my time is really very limited. I don't mind if the quality is kept at the standard of the previous, but if it turns into a free for all. no thank you, plenty of thread space for all here so no need to pad these packs out as if its a charity car boot sale for the orphans.

What I've done is create a donations folder That is seperate from the main pack. It will be included along with the pack but the items within can be installed at the descresion of the user. Sort of like a bonus.

The main pack will consist of the ship, and required segments to build it, 2 weapons, 3 characters, and a collection of other models made by me. If you would like to contribute to the main pack, It would be a pleasure to add them as I have before.

In the Universe, nothing ever stays the same.

I'm not sure what you mean. I can see why you think they aren't very good, though regarding the textures, I did not use any texture generating program, they were selfmade using GIMP.
Sorry Cosmic if this ruins the rest of your pack with it's poor quality.

As I stated above, I have included a folder with the community contributions.

Here is the current file structure of the pack.

The CP stuff folder will contain the installer for the main pack. It will contain work of the quality that I have always delivered. (Contents listed above). Fallen one's skyboxes are "premium items" and would be included in the main installer.

The community folder will be full of extras that folks have donated and will be available if desired by the end user, but will not be in the main installer.

I hope this clears things up.

Ok Thats cleared up, I understand that.
Is the donations stuff a seperate download, that way it keeps the download smaller, sizes can get pretty big, I know we have broadband and bigger HD, but id sooner not download extra content and have to delete it all.

would premium items be included in the main installer?

Just checking as I have some spare time (1 day) so Ill be working on the skyboxes next, I was thinking of adding 4 if I get the time, the two sea ones, skull island, and a regular island. I wouldnt get them all in a day I dont think, but I think in 4 days time, Id get another day, so perhaps Id get them done from that.

Yes they would. That would be great, it'll give me a few days to throw a few more models together.

Speaking of which, here's the new screens I promised.

It all looks great cosmic and I am sorry that I do not have the models retextured for you, but I see you had something very similar to what I was going to give you. I modeled my ship after the one from elder scrolls 3. The one you start on in the beginning. I started to retexture it, but my modeling skills at the time I build it was awful, so I stopped. Besides you did a fine job at modeling anyways and I look forward to your pack.

@AdrianoJones Wannabe, Your segments don't suck. they just needed a little more work. I decide to rework your textures to make them look a little better. I decided to get rid of the grass one, as it didn't quite have a grass effect but the bricks were a good base. Here is what I did:
