Give me more credit than that, lol. It's my girlfriend, she's fascinated by the forums for some god-aweful reason

Sony has (by far and unarguably) the largest catalog of games available. Period. If they do with the PS3 what they've done with the PSX and PS2, which I'm sure they'll do, then the Playstation is going to have the bigger catalog of games. Just making it backwards-compatible already makes it have more games. And let's not forget... 360 has Halo, Fable, and Elder Scrolls, which is great if you're into sci-fi fantasy stuff (personally, I'll take killing humans over dragons and aliens any day of the week). We've got the entire GTA line (which are always released on the Playstation first, and with the next gen, they might not be released on any other console at all, seeing as how Rockstar has pushed for only Playstation releases so far), Metal Gear, the new Getaway game (borderline photo-realism, can't wait for that one), and an army of other titles.
Quote: "i dont think they have enough games that are wanted by gamers"
The Playstation has always been the number one console in terms of sales. The only reason the 360 is outselling it is because the PS3 isn't out yet. You don't get to be number one if people don't like the games you have on your console. If these rumors about Rockstar not releasing the GTA series on the 360 are true, I think that's going to hurt the 360 enough that we won't see a 720
Speaking of GTA, I want to take a moment say YEAH BABY, EAT IT
A while back, before Liberty City Stories was released, I had a huge arguement with someone (who had support from multiple others) about the future of GTA games following the San Andreas release. I said (this is not a direct quote because I can't find the thread this arguement was posted in, otherwise I'd be rubbing in their face via e-mail lol)
Quote: "The next GTA will take place in Liberty City. They go Liberty City, Vice City, San Andreas, in that order, and anyone who played the first, old-school GTA and saw GTA 3 and GTA VC should have guessed that San Andreas will be the next logical step"
Everyone told me I was wrong, and crazy, and I didn't know what I was talking about. Then Liberty City Stories came out on the PSP, then as a port on the PS2. I wish I could remember the people who were arguing with me so I could say HA! EAT IT! This tells me that one of three things will happen with the next GTA. Please be sure to remember that I called it:
1. It will take place in the state of Liberty, modeled after New York State and parts of New Jersey. It'll be bigger than San Andreas and will feature GTA-versions of NYC, Atlantic City, Niagara Falls, and a few others (probably Syracuse, Binghamton, Ithaca, and other major NYS cities)
2. It'll take place in Vice City and emulate Florida and parts of the Carribean (sp?)... take a boat to an island, stuff like that.
~ Or ~
3. It will feature all three cities on a huge world map where you can drive, fly, or boat between said cities.
When GTA 3 came out, I told everyone "the next GTA will take place in Vice City." No one believed me, oh look, I was right. Then, I said the next one will be in San Andreas. Again, no one believed me, again, oh look, I was right. Don't be that guy who thinks I'm wrong this time, because I'll bet large sums of money that I'm 115% right. It'll probably be either 2 or 3 moreso than 1, and 3 is more likely than 2, but history repeats itself with Rockstar, so put your money on 2. And remember, I said it first
Sorry, just had to point that out. Being the token TGC radical extremist I tend to be wrong more often than not, lol... it's good to be king for a few days
