What is it?

Quote: "A fruit/flower?"

Close, but too general. I'll let you guess at which answer though.

Quote: "Looks like a smily to me."

Hmmmm. Could be yes... but it's not.

Quote: "the slime on ghostbusters 2?"

No

Quote: "Peach"

Yes!

while were waiting for Dazzag, anyone know what this iS:

> Steel?
Close

> a knife sharpener
No

> The handle on a cattle prod?
Nope

Hint 1:
It is made of steel, but that is only 40% of what it is when it's in its full size

I'm going to take a totally idiotic guess and say it's one of those butcher things... it's like a blunt pole--I'm unsure of the actual use of it though.

EDIT: Oh, of course. A knife sharpener is what I meant, but Higgins has already pointed it out .

No you're all wrong, but Higgins was closest with his "steel" guess.

Hint1:
it is a steel entity. but at its full size, 60% is made out something else.

No.

Heh, no, unfortunetely.

Lukas, I just had to make a seperate post since that was such a perfect response. Alas, it isn't the answer. Nonetheless, you get bonus points for making such a fantastic guess (it really looks like that!)

Anyway, here's the hint: If you're a teacher, you'll have one lying around.

There's a bit of illiterality in the above hint but I can't say exactly what it is, otherwise it will give the answer away.

EDIT: Going out now, will check responses once I'm back.

Apologies if the image was too blurry, it was the best one I could find.

Anyway, Zerk ended up getting it right; it was an apple. I’d show you the full picture but I’m not on my home computer right now so I don’t have it here with me. I’ll edit this post to prove that it really is an apple .

EDIT: Okay, here's the original:

The part where I said:

Quote: "There's a bit of illiterality in the above hint but I can't say exactly what it is, otherwise it will give the answer away."

I was trying to hint at the word "stereotypical", but I didn't want to say it otherwise I figured I would give it away. I mean, what's more stereotypical than a teacher and apples? Well... maybe you shouldn't answer that question .
