Here's a capture of my perennially messy desktop. Hope someone can find anything interesting there... I sure as well cannot. :9

PS - Yes, that is a grown man's desktop background. I just love those Pocoyo characters - in particular the Duck!

I have vague plans for World Domination

Like to keep mine clean too, leaving a folder at the top with my programs in, I'm on my Dev Profile though which is one i use for work and hobbyist stuff.

Theres also a little preview of what i'm working on.

I run both monitors at 1280x1024 so if anyone wants me to resize the image, let me know.

This is my desktop. I thought I would post it, for a bit of a larf...

In the bottom part of the screen (next to the trash can), is a small screenie of a prototype of a game I'm working on (using C4) - if you think DBPro is hard, C4 is the most convoluted, ill-documented engine around. Aside from Torque, Irrlicht and, of course, Orgre Help is pretty good though.

Visit my web site for real bangin' stuff. Word.

Mine is dull. I keep my desktop as neat and orderly as I can. I keep all of my shortcuts in different folders. "Utilities" contains all of my maintenance stuff, like Avira, AVG, Trend Micro, Spybot, all that stuff. "Work" contains both my literal job's work and my game-making programs, all individually split up into different categories (modeling, programming, texturing, audio, etc.). Games contains all of the games on my computer, each broken into different categories (action/ adventure, flight sim, RPG, etc.). The Business folder has all of the draft work for my website, profit projections, all that boring stuff. The games I'm currently working on are kept in folders on my desktop for easy-access, but I blocked out the names of the games that haven't been announced yet. It's so much better to tell you guys the cryptic code names of the games I'm working on than the actual titles . But they are, in order of appearance (left to right, top row to bottom row): Sewer Rat, Church Mouse, Field Mouse, Muskrat, Chipmunk, and last but certainly not least, the epic project Lemming, which has nothing whatsoever to do with the game "Lemmings," but they're too cute and cuddly to not use with sarcasm for a game that violent. Church Mouse is that massive game I talked about a long time ago... and there it sits, humbly eating up 12 gigs of HD space on my desktop, undisturbed for eons, and every time I turn on my PC it's like a slap in the face . Oh, the game that got away, lol.

you might motice the live pacman file... live pacman lives, I've just been sick lately. As soon as I'm over the flu I'll be getting back into this hardcore and I'm sure Jess will be too!

Was that sarcasm, or do you really like Sonicstage? I'm not a big fan of it personally, I like having MP3's and sonicstage doesn't let me convert music into MP3's. It came with my Vaio but I only started using it recently (I've been buying songs from Connect with my coke rewards points, lol).

I accumulate icons sooo fast. I have to clean my desktop off at least 2 times a month it gets so bad. I bet if I skipped my last 2 cleanings my desktop would be completely full.

I have 2 monitors, which in hindsight was a bad idea, seeing as theyre both crt...
CRT + CRT = 0 desk space

Anyway, I don't use the 2nd one anymore, mostly because it sucks.

This is almost like an active forum, now.
4 posts in 6 minutes...

Yea I tried bitTorrent, but it said I had to put the firewall down to get a decent connection.
As soon as I did that, about 5 norton things pop up saying "worm detected and blocked".
