there will be some fighting but not much till the end. It's almost less of a game and more of a playable narrartive. So I've almost given up on trying to improve frame rate as its sort of just needed for the action parts. Right now it's at a liveable 19fps on a 512mb vidcard. Not where I want it but liveable
God I cant wait to get my comp for X10. I fear all the lag is due to exterior levels

it should be done by the beginning of the new year. All that's left to be done is video some music and voicework for the video. Unfortunately I'm suffering from a coldand my voice is really crap right now, so when it returns so will work on the game.

I'm sure most of it was a reflection of the way his family felt, as his Aunts who he went to live with had no place for his Wife. All of this though, makes no difference as far as what a great writer he was - Otherwise, we wouldn't still be enjoying his stories!

Bumpetty bump bump! I may as well add my voice: how's this game (which has all the signs of being excellent) coming along?

I think Lovecraft's race/people related views were probably rather confused and messed up, possibly due to his experiences (he considered suicide at... fourteen, I think? But didn't because he wanted to learn about the world.) Plus he thought he was abnormal, and if I remember rightly, his mother kept telling him he was ugly, so he went around hiding his face as best he could behind his coat. And, of course, both parents were (or went) insane. Poor guy.

I'm not actually a Kiwi, I just randomly thought it up one day.

the game is coming along quickly, its just voice acting im working on as well as cutscene conversions of the voice acting. I only have to remake one level as higgins cave pack made of segements is finally out and will be an excelent addition to it as opposed to the original cave pak test that was done with entities. Other than that levels are made, enemies done, weapons are pretty much where i want them , I just have to get some more music done by S4real (excelent score by him!! ), it's just work has kept me from my comp the last few days.

As for HPL you are correct, his mother openly called him hideous, not sure if she went insane, but i do know she was of poor health. And his father went insane from syphilus, since they didn't know how to cure it back then or at least elude the insanity part of it.
