Meh, i had avast for my antivirus as of late. Until i was asaved from a trojan by windows defender!. So i scanned my computer with avast, nothing. I unistall avast and install avira. avira get's it in its scan. God avast sucks, who would have guessed windows deffender, actually deffends.

Recovering will just essentially do a copy/paste from the i386 folder on your CD to your windows directory. Chances are it will disable but not destroy the malware.

That's the only option on my computer; I made recovery discs as well, but that's a copy from the actual partition. It's starting to look like I'd need to buy Windows CDs to do a full format/reinstall...thanks HP.

If you can get the licence key from your Windows installation anyone's disc would work. You don't need to buy it again.

I've got windows 7 recently, but i dont want to format my system until i have to, But i hope your format goes well, remember to backup any new projects.

Also: I...HATE...DEBUGGING... I've been doing it all day and its giving me a headache now, but i've still got a hugh list of things to fix.

No - it's usually hidden. There's also a chance there's some hidden little system somewhere to stop you activating an ordinary copy of Windows with the HP code.

Well then, I guess I'll just do the normal recovery and see what happens. I keep running scans, but nothing is showing up. I think it's just simple adware that's on here and it's somehow embedding itself into any programs I make. Perhaps it will go away with the recovery being done.

Not a whole lot to look at right now, but it's not entirely done either. I still need to make a dummy character model to put in the preview to fit the objects to, and an extra attribute to specify which limb the weapon or armor piece is attached to.
