They enjoy thier own identity, not one as a shared, though at a glance they are very different, Jack is bulky, not fat, while Tom is like me, slim. Thier is tell tale signs of them being twins. but bleh.

Hmm Phionfera, is looking promising so far,

Along with.
Versaroc /Verasona/ Verasonc
Fanfright/Fanfrete/Fanfora
Phionfera/ Phionent / Phionasis
Animosit/ Aniferos/ Aniforset
Vextration/ Vexonara / Vexaeros

You can see the general wordspeak am after.

I picked up Soul eater, and i must say its rather intresting. I only stumbled upon it after seeing a art book entitled Soul sanctum or something like that. It had alot of workd by square eneix, and this was one of them. You can see thier styling a mile off, but its nice, slighly nostalgic but without the creases.

Am off to ponder upon some new art stuf's

Hey guys, should this work for creating a copy of a level file? I don't want users to overwrite their levels if they give it the same name, so I'm trying to increase a number for it if the file exists. Me are having trubles gitteh dis 2 wurk.

What's the Name$ variable for? Shouldn't it be Filepath$?
Wait, nevermind. That should work fine.

The Name$ variable is the name of the file the user types into the input line (soon to be a box, I hope). Here's my whole saving routine, if it helps any (I still have a TON to add to it!):

EDIT:

Heh, got it to work successfully. Realized the while loop wasn't necessary and reduced it to just this:

Works beautifully.

I don't know how to take this.

I am a member of and moderate an atheist and religious debate forum and we just got...exorcised. The site gets hate-mail...but wow, 100 points for originality.

It's not a metaphor...somebody actually thought they could exorcise us...via the internet. As though we are actually possessed by demons.

They say the internet is diverse, because you've got idiots from every background.

Normally I think it's trolling or a joke, but there are people who believe demon possession is real, and given the seriousness of their post, I'd think not.

Maddness...

I love writing the villians and physcopaths in shorts, evil is so more intresting and befitting of my time. A real villian is a true Genius, all the hero has to do is throw a spanner into the intrecutly mastered plan, a child can do that.
Screw your fairytale heros, i want the Bad guy.

See i always have strange thoughts between sleep and reality. I luvvee the bleed effect.

Seriously though, I'm thinking about possibly switching to Blitz 3D. DarkBASIC is great, but I want to try something else out now. Y'know what I mean?

ROFTLMAO!!!!!!

Seriously, I literally burst out laughing at that sentence!

@Venge:

You definitely have more skillz in graphic design and programming than I possess, thus you are better. However, one day, perhaps I will also possess the skills you possess! And I'll take over your mind and body!! AHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!

Eh, or I'll just study a bit more about programming before starting a complicated project. Yeah, let's go with the second option...

I beg everyone's pardon; I am up late and am quite tired. Anything is funny to me right now, and thus I am going to bed. It calls me. But not in a creepy way, more like a "SLEEP!! NAO!!" sort of way. G'night!

Nooooo, I've tried Blitz a few years ago, i must say it was definitely more stable, and had less of a tendency to crash, but i thought it was a lot more limited in capabilities than darkbasic, so i ended up coming back here.

ive also tried Blitz3D, i wouldent suggest switching to it though. Dont get me wrong its a great product, but its getting a bit out dated(Still dx7). I think there also a plan to add better 3d capabilitis to BlitzMax, read that on the blitz forum some where. If you realy want a challenge why not go c++ with a 3d sdk like NF or GDK?

I should shoot myself now.

I just went with my family to see St Trinian's 2 at the cinema. I felt very masculine walking into a chic-flic.

I'll admit it's pretty funny, it had Pirates, which goes down well, but also David Tenant playing the leader of a secret society. The movie was clearly feminist, and was so in an amusing way. Colin Firth played his part well too.

It was mad and eccentric, so maybe that's why I found it funny, even if a bit girly. Oh well.

I have no shame.

I didn't get any manly DVDs for Christmas - I got Bruno, but that's playing on the effeminate homosexual stereotype, so that would hardly redeem me...I've got a copy of Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho sitting by my laptop, how about I sit in bed reading that listening to music about butchering people?

Or is my redemption on the level of all 6 (is it 6?) Saw films in one go?

The saw films might not do it. For real man points, forget horror. True blooded man-movie time. An Arnie film. Maybe Judge Dredd. Maybe Die Hard. Maybe Speed. Something classic. And violent. And with excessive punctuation. Short sentences mean no thinking. Blow things up. Boom.

I watched the first 5 in three days I think. The sixth was still in theaters though (is it out yet?).

On a related note, I have watched District 9 three times in the past five days.

Well played. In my competitive one-upmanship, I've watch Jack Frost twice in a week, and the other week I watched The Santa Clause twice in one day (once at 6:30 in the morning before I went to bed, and once with some mates at 22:30 when I was quite drunk). Now that's got to beat District 9 thrice in 5 days.
