The long posts are long because I must systematically crush Lazerus's ill-conceived arguments. It takes a decent amount of space to do so.

So what if I talk to myself? Its the only way i can have an intelligent conversation around here.

Well, just finished Death Note, after about episode 27 (when L's friends appear...I won't spoil it) it starts to get annoying and is poorly written. Man, there is so much 'telling', it's like, "oh this is how I set him up, I knew you would do that..." we know because we saw you do it! Why do you need to tell us what we've just seen? I think the series could have ended around that point, the rest seems to be just fleshing out the plot to make it longer.

In fact every couple of episodes you hear Light say something like, "I was one step ahead of him" or "I knew you would do that" Some of it seemed just too convenient and lost some of my interest.

With how much he repeats his plans, you'd think you're watching a National Geographic documentary, where they'll summarize what they've already told you every 10 minutes.

Probably should have just skipped to the final episode and miss out all of the stretched out stuff.

Ill admit that the pebbles in a pond was a bad analagy, but saying a infinite distance constant emtition, from billions of particles in a perfectly balanced system that is humanly impossible to imagine even just the effect of a grain of sand is easier? Though your miss interpreting the bridge, i said
Quote: "Now the gate is the equivlent of a controlled black hole"
A open singularity and gravitational effect was the simliarites, but thier effects on the surrounding matter and space are completly different.

A mind/voice can be a weapon, i can now go talk to someone and with enough time and break them down, once that is done i could merely ask them to kill someone. I would still be held accountable. A anything held with malice is classified as a weapon. This keyboard is classed as a weapon since yuo still deny god modding.

This will go on forever, the reason i drew the line was it was taking too much into my studies. Stop trying to light this old flare =__=

Righty ho if you still wish to play.

By your terms,

Ecm reflectors are on, time you use some good old grunt work and refelct your jamming signals towards your control satilites, your missles where never going to land here. With a effective defense barrier now created through your own weapons, i will use the this time to call in a small armmed force reaching a standard of 15 mechanised units 20 force recons 56 shock trooper squads. Stratosphere bombers have reached thier target and are realesing payloads over your current location. Dont say your not home since youv stupidly left your contact line open through sheer narcsasim of the thought that you beat me.

Your defenses are no match for these. Your kinetic barriers would stop a normal nuke, but these are a little more advanced. Fusion drills are active, Shape charges are firing, defenses breached.

Using the shape explosions i created a drill system that forces the drill piece to rotate at extreme speeds while firing out super heated liquid tearing through your defenses.

Secondary firing sequence ready, Nuke detonation in 20 seconds.

Reaiming deflectors towards your ground units, all enemy units are rendered useless. Mechaised squads 1-3 are in posisition, Firing.

Ground units have been eradicated, Enemy Emp's are down, systems recovering. We are back online. Emergency transport has been arranged Key personal have been recovered and relocated. All information has been deleted and burned. Base is currently empty with no informational records.

Tactical nuke detonation, enemy base and twenty four mile surronding area has been destroyed.

You sir are dead.

The point of this game was to leave a option, no action coul be set in stone. By you creating scenarios where no options were available you god modded.

I therefore ended this game.

DEATHNOTE//

I have watched up to the

Again: Until you can show me something that is not destructive, and is still legally classified as a weapon, your Deep Orbital Strike was a weapon, and was destructive. Words are not a weapon, as words cannot do physical damage to anyone or anything. Words might be able to lead to physical damage or injury, but they do not directly cause it on their own.
Anything can be USED as a weapon, but not anything IS a weapon. I somehow doubt that you'll be getting checked for hidden keyboards at security checkpoints.
Quote: "This will go on forever, the reason i drew the line was it was taking too much into my studies. Stop trying to light this old flare"

If you would simply play by the rules, this would NOT go on forever. Fairly soon, one of us would win. (Most likely me.) If you wish to "draw the line" and end the game, you forfeit.
Quote: "Ecm reflectors are on, time you use some good old grunt work and refelct your jamming signals towards your control satilites, your missles where never going to land here."

...Oh? So you DO want to keep playing. Very well then.
First off, what is an Ecm reflector? I was using EMP cannons, and an EMP cannot be reflected. I can be partially blocked or shielded against, but not reflected. And again, no EMP shielding is perfect. A sufficiently powerful EMP will always be able to penetrate any amount of shielding.
So, since my EMPs are not reflected and have long since fried every last bit of tech and equipment in your bases, my troops are still in the middle of slaughtering your defenseless, tech-less forces.
Quote: "Dont say your not home since youv stupidly left your contact line open through sheer narcsasim of the thought that you beat me. "

Again, YOU CANNOT SAY WHAT ACTIONS ANOTHER USER TOOK OR DID NOT TAKE. I never left anything open, and in fact, never mentioned even USING a contact line. You are STILL trying to God Mod!
FOR THE LAST TIME: YOU ONLY CONTROL YOUR OWN ACTIONS. YOU CANNOT DECIDE WHAT ANOTHER USER DID.
Quote: "Your kinetic barriers would stop a normal nuke, but these are a little more advanced."

Hey look! MORE GOD MODDING! When did I EVER mention kinetic barriers?
Quote: "Reaiming deflectors towards your ground units, all enemy units are rendered useless. Mechaised squads 1-3 are in posisition, Firing."

No. Your tech is ALL fried and useless. You cannot deflect or re-aim or redirect an EMP, especially since its a PULSE. It is not continuous. It fires a pules of electromagnetic energy which shorts out all the electrical equipment in its path.
You're thinking of it like a water hose being aimed into a pool of water, constantly pumping in more water, and creating a constant stream of waves and ripples.
That is NOT the case.
AN EMP wave is more like a rock being dropped in a pool of water. It creates a SINGLE wave/ripple.
Quote: "Enemy Emp's are down, systems recovering."

sigh... AGAIN: An EMP is a single pulse, not a continuous thing. Even if you DID manage to take down the EMP cannons, your tech would still be fried. Dead, Gone. Broken. Ruined. FOREVER.
The only way you could recover your systems would be to completely replace every single piece of equipment in your entire base. AND you have to get the new equipment shipped in from a remote location. Anything in the path of the EMP would be ruined, whether or not it was plugged in, turned on, or active. Any spare parts in your base would also be useless.
Quote: "We are back online."

No. No you are not.
Quote: "All information has been deleted and burned. Base is currently empty with no informational records."

Also all impossible due to all your equipment being destroyed by the EMP.
Quote: "Tactical nuke detonation, enemy base and twenty four mile surronding area has been destroyed."

Really? And you found out about the location of my base HOW? Oh, right! YOU DIDN'T! Not to mention there's no guarantee that whatever base you THINK you located is the one I'm in.
Quote: "You sir are dead."

Keep dreaming pal. (And stop God Modding)
Quote: "The point of this game was to leave a option, no action coul be set in stone. By you creating scenarios where no options were available you god modded."

Im sorry, but are you HIGH?! That's the OPPOSITE point of the game! If there is always an option, then the game NEVER ends! I don't know how the heck you're thinking of this game, but the correct analogy is to think of it like Chess.
Your GOAL is to leave your opponent with no moves. THAT'S HOW YOU WIN!!! Have you ever heard of a little thing called "Checkmate?"
I honestly don't think I've EVER seen anyone fail quite as hard as you did right there.

So what if I talk to myself? Its the only way i can have an intelligent conversation around here.

What??? The stig is thier WTF??

Sepp We shall attack at dawn.

carrynig on.

yes but instantly aquring all your magical tech and instantly surrounding my base?

Honestly you think am not make sense?

This is by what i mean, without set standards we can just do whatever you want, hence i just killed you.

So i left you no options but death. I win, Game Over, i rule the rulez. Oh an
Thats aanother win.

You see the point? You can argue all you want, but by your logic i have just won i left you no quater by blowing up you and everything else, they were counter measures i used so you couldnt emp me.
If i wanted a simple mind f. like that i would ask my dog to try an beat me in a game of risk. Thiers no skill in saying I send mah l33t soilderz in an fry ur tec so u cant do nutten, ten NADE Nuke yea casue i totally l33t with ub3r skillz an 1 bazzlioon soliders tat are mostly machines tat r totally shiney an l33t. Then making up crap like, ohh you left a map with a red cross were you were so i just followed you. Even though the base was nuked and no actual information was thier. or the fact it had a shiled or nothing liek that. Or knowing where the base was to be able to use paralasying gas.

I guess your logic isnt falliable an that you completly planned that out in every way possible. At least i made an effort to be more creative by producing the images and renders to make it look like i planned something or at least made it plausable.

@ Sepp: Oh, sorry. I misread your post. I though you said you had just finished episode 27. You meant you had finished the entire series, and that it got bad around episode 27, right?

@Laz: Ok. Yeah. I'm pretty sure you're high.
Quote: "yes but instantly aquring all your magical tech and instantly surrounding my base? "

What magical tech? Everything I used or mentioned is completely possible and in fact already exists and has been proven to work.
Quote: "This is by what i mean, without set standards we can just do whatever you want, hence i just killed you."

What are you TALKING about? We HAVE set standards in the game:
1) No God Modding
2) Real world tech only
3) All actions must be physically possible by the current human understanding of the universe.
Quote: "So i left you no options but death."

You're making less and less sense every second. How did YOU leave ME with no options? I fried all your equipment with the EMP. How can you attack me? YOU HAVE NO WEAPONS OR EQUIPMENT OF ANY KIND.
As for your code snippet: Haha. That's hilarious. Yeah, not immature at all.
Quote: "You see the point?"

No, I think YOU don't see the point. Either that or you're just pissed that you're losing and you've started making more crap up and ignoring the facts and how things happened.
Quote: "You can argue all you want, but by your logic i have just won i left you no quater"

Are you serious? REALLY? MAKE SENSE MAN! HOW have you left me with no quarter? How have you won? By MY logic (And by that I mean any logic at all, since there is no logic to be found in your arguments.) all of your equipment is fried, you are currently being attacked by my forces of most of your bases, and you're pretty much screwed at this point.
Quote: "blowing up you and everything else"

What you don't seem to understand is that you DIDN'T blow me up! YOU HAD NOTHING TO BLOW ME UP WITH. I fried all of your equipment!
Quote: "they were counter measures i used so you couldnt emp me."

YOU MAKE NO SENSE, GOOD SIR.
I fried your equipment with the EMP long before you supposedly nuked me and drilled through the kinetic shields you seem to think I have, even though I never said anything about them. How was nuking my base (Which you MAGICALLY obtained the location of) possible AFTER all your equipment was fried? How can you send a nuke my way when you have NO FUNCTIONING EQUIPMENT?
Oh, and even if you DID nuke my base before I blasted you with the EMP... THAT WOULDN'T HELP. Even if my base was completely and utterly destroyed, my troops were already deployed, and my EMP would still have fried all your equipment.
Quote: "Then making up crap like, ohh you left a map with a red cross were you were so i just followed you."

YOU'RE the only one making up actions that your opponents supposedly took, and then expecting no one to question where the heck you're getting this bull crap information from.
Quote: "Even though the base was nuked and no actual information was thier."

The base was nuked AFTER I collected the information that was left on the computers. As for their being no information on the computers, it is way too late for that. If you wanted to dispute the presence of data on the computers, you should have done it as soon as I said I had found it. We have long since established the existence of said data. You said yourself that you were going to "refelct your jamming signals towards your control satilites". If you were able to even ATTEMPT to reflect my signals, that would mean they DID reach your base.
If they DID reach your base, that would mean that I DID have accurate information about you bases' locations.
If I DID have accurate information about your bases' locations, that would mean that I DID find the information on the computers at the abandoned base.
Quote: "or the fact it had a shiled or nothing liek that."

You yourself said the base was abandoned. If it was abandoned, any defenses would be inoperable. Even if the base HADN'T been abandoned, the nerve gas would have knocked out all personnel, allowing me plenty of time to disable any shields.
Quote: "Or knowing where the base was to be able to use paralasying gas. "

I knew where ONE base was, and then I FOUND OUT where the rest were from information obtained at that base. Of course Im going to know where SOME of your bases are. Do you really think that the locations of ALL military bases are secret? Sure, SOME are secret, but most of them are public knowledge.
As for the gas, what's wrong with that? It exists. have you never heard of knock out gas, or tear gas? These are both used by regular, everyday police forces in raids, riots and drug busts.
Quote: "I guess your logic isnt falliable"

Not at all. My logic just makes sense, whereas your does not. Half of your "logic" is just you referring to things that never happened. (See: CoffeeCoder being allied with you, CoffeeCoder having his troops in the abandoned base, me supposedly having kinetic shields, me having 768 bases, etc, etc, etc...)
Quote: "an that you completly planned that out in every way possible"

No, I never said I planned for every possible outcome. I merely planned much better than you. Also, I stuck to reality, where you resorted to breaking the laws of physics (See: Eurasian plate explosion leaving the earth intact, and transforming the matter at the center of the explosion into energy) thinking you could control the actions of another user (See: Saying that CoffeeCoder was allied with you even though he never said he was, saying that I had kinetic shields, saying that I said I had 768 bases) and just making crap up. (See: Somehow nuking me long after I had disabled all your equipment, pretending to understand even the most basic concepts of string theory, talking about being reborn and bringing in aliens from some other dimension)
Quote: "At least i made an effort to be more creative by producing the images and renders to make it look like i planned something or at least made it plausable."

<Sarcasm>
Oh, yes, totally. Having a pretty picture makes breaking just about every rule of the game completely acceptable! I don't have a pretty picture of a nuke exploding, or a piece of equipment shorting out, so obviously everything I say is automatically wrong! I think I'll go and steal a car, and when the police try and stop me, I'll show them a picture of someone else stealing a car! They'd HAVE TO let me get away with it if I had a picture!
</Sarcasm>

TL: DR version:
You fail.
You are wrong.
You have lost the argument.
Get over it.

So what if I talk to myself? Its the only way i can have an intelligent conversation around here.

yes, definitely. Posts are long enough as is, especially long ones. Three sentences should definitely be the limit per post, but run on sentences don't count as full sentences, so you could just post, say, a really really really long sentence, as long as there is no period in between different segments of said run on sentence inside the words and letters of the post, which it is inside of.

//Ignores Omega//

Got AVATAR game for 360, im quite dissapointed. The story is lacking an half assed, Of course your not following whats his face from the movie but are actually another avatar controller on another part of the planet.

The depth and sheer size of the planet has been horribly rendered and now it looks no bigger than Liverpool. The action/fighting is too repetitive, I choose the Na'vi at the start so i lost my body of course. The Weapons are useless you just run at the enemys to get close enough to smash thier heads in. while they have huge mechs, flying tanks and heavily armed ground forces who instantly mow you down when they see you.

The only thing that has been enjoyable is the landscapes. They are beautiful...

The character depth fails, it just about holds attention with it. The leveling up system is absolutly pointless, you are always going to get the weapons/upgrades/skills at the same time in the story due to massive exp dumps at the end of missions, which involve flying/running to a point killing everything, grabbing something running/flying back. Moaned at in poor english and irratating accents is of course run of the mill.

Control system is pathetic. Dodge which is left trigger, does nothing but throw you at the fire and is also done so whatever your holding normally a 8ft spear dissapears randomly then reappears. No flow to actions, poorly thought out animations. Ohh an the kicker, buttons on the pad do nothing. B nothing, left button, clicks on joysticks nothing.

I do not recommend it, other than for pure insperation or referencing art from.

You should buy a llama. Keep it in your house. Make it a stable and let it live there. Feed it only Poptarts and Mountain Dew.

That's what I'd do.

So I got a scholarship application letter from the school today in my student mailbox. Let me know if this makes sense to you guys. It's a new scholarship for full room and board, and is only available to the students who have received the also-new-this-year Presidential Scholarship(full tuition), which I have. As far as I know, I am the first and only person to have received this scholarship, and so should be the only one eligible to receive the room/board scholarship this year(which requires a 300-word essay). I just thought it was kind of odd that this ~$6,000/year scholarship is only awarded to the student(s) who already have the rest of their school costs paid by a different scholarship.

Anyway, I'ma go write that essay now, since I just received the application today, the deadline is Monday, and the offices are closed on the weekend.

At long last, I return to the realm of TGC. Ive been gone, for about a month or two, and those months outside the game creator forums have been the best in my life. But Now, I will combine the best times, with the previous best, and I shall engineer glory.

(Its mostly because my computer works again )

Hooray for the Tomodomo technique. It's not bad for keeping me focused on doing my work, especially when you have a desktop timer to help.

25 minutes to work each time, 5 minute breaks in between. Seems much more motivating.

Thought I'd share, it might be useful for anybody else who procrastinates.

Can I please get some input on everyone's studying time for high school exams? My mom thought that when I got home at 9am after my only exam of the day that I should spend the rest of the day studying (about 13 hours). Now is it just me more is that... more stupid then this: http://failblog.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/epic-fail-armed-robbery-fail.jpg?

What is it an exam for? I've got two tests tomorrow and plan on studying in the hour or so before the classes.
