Ah good one! Your fingers should always be hovering over Ctrl and S to save the instant you do something!

I think it does, yes, but I think it's actually due to something like JS or Flash causing it as it seems to depend on the pages you have open.

People. Look at this. It's a good idea from DJD64. It's a desktop background "competition":

That's my experience aswell, I have seen some tabs use as much memory themselves as firefox uses for 20 similar tabs. That's chromium on linux btw.

Had to post this because the homeless dude on the left looks so much like me! I blanked out a part that some might find offensive.

Mod Edit: We've already had problems with inappropriate content being posted in this thread. Please restrain yourself and stop trolling with borderline images.

A sketch of two people operating on someone?

That image wasn't a troll by the way, the guy on the left does genuinely look a lot like me.

The beta forum might support that feature.

Recompiling a kernel on gentoo is so dead easy. It's just:

Configuring the kernel is a whole other story, but building it has been made so stupidly easy since the last time I attempted to use Gentoo.

Does anyone know of a good program that can recursively eliminate duplicate images visually? I've got a lot of pictures on my computer and many images are visually identical, even though they have different names, sizes, and compression. I would like to keep the highest quality versions of the duplicates and delete the rest.

Didn't think anybody was interested in using it...

Click this thumbnail and it shows you the page the image is on, scroll down to see more options of linking an image, resized images are currently set to 640 width been thinking to set it to 800 or 1024...

You can register at the top, but I think it will send you an activation email or I have to activate the account manually cannot remember anymore was a few days ago

It works pretty nicely!

EDIT

Woops I really am side-tracked at the moment, linked the HTML link not bbcode earlier lol

Please take note of the text at the top of the site and the bottom...

Aww thanks, that actually made my day.

Has anyone noticed that the text on the live forum looks a little different/strange? It seems more blurry to me. I am not sure if its a Chrome or Windows setting of mine, or if it's a forum thing.

But that means re-uploading an image, which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place. It'd just be nice to link an image from any source and have it resize automatically on here. Haven't tested that on the beta forums so maybe it already happens?

Hmm, understandable, but as you can see, it is still worth the downloading and uploading, and it is pretty fast anyway...

Anyone seen this? Pretty amazing! I always thought evolution of this scale took hundreds of generations, but apparently not. Maybe punctuated equilibrium is a valid theory?

Quote: "Hmm, understandable, but as you can see, it is still worth the downloading and uploading, and it is pretty fast anyway..."

Perhaps, but if I have to download/upload it myself it's not much more effort to simply resize it myself.

Don't be like that. Apart from your brony tendencies I think you're a pretty cool guy; I think we have a lot in common.

Does the image dup software have to be linux or can it be Windows? I ask because I only know of one for Windows.

I used to have one, but I don't know what happened to it... Here you go, this may have been it (it's good anyway and better than the one budokaiman linked IMHO and totally free): https://tn123.org/simimages/
