Hey guys I am doing tests with my camera now. I am trying to find ways to make it look like it came out of a 35mm film camera or a RED Epic. So far this is a test I did just recently. I would love to try out the Dark Energy After Effects plug-in, but it is only available for Windows 7 64 bit... and I have Windows 8.1... Seriously how in the world could you make something for that system and not have it work on 8.1? I also wanted to try out Cinegrain, Rgrain, and Gorilla Grain but they either require money or Final Cut Pro. I am a huge Adobe Fan and I honestly dislike AVID and Final Cut Pro and all the others. Adobe I find to be the best.

Possibly, but when I learned to use Blender I still had a child's brain and just accepted things as they were and learned pretty much instantly. Ah, those were the days... about 5 years ago

I am one of those some. I just haven't replied because I can't help Zach because I have no experience with Adobe software (with the exception of Flash Pro CS6). I used to use Corel VideoStudio X6 Ultimate and then X7 when it came out, but recently switched to Sony Vegas Pro 13 which is waaaay better (if only because Corel refused to let us choose which resolution to export at ).

And a lot of users are leaving (as they have been for a long time now) too, which makes for fewer actual conversations.

I'm having to guess at what political science even is, but without taking the time to google the exact definition I'd say I'm mildly interested.

I had the WEIRDEST dream last night. You know Ched80? I dreamt that I went to visit him at his house. Not having any idea what he looks like (although now that I think about it... was that him that did the Occulus AppGameKit thing?), my brain told me he was about 17-18, good-looking and semi-blond (stop snickering, it was a dream, I notice different things in dreams than I would IRL). I don't know why I was in his house, but he offered me a glass of water from a tray with about 6 glasses on it. One of the glasses had a short piece of masking tape stuck to it with "Ched80" scribbled in pencil. That was when I realised I was in the presence of another forumite, and it's when the dream became really cool.

I remember he was a way better programmer than I, and he was waaay cooler than I, and I remember having to go all-out to appear just as cool as he did. I can't remember all the things we did, but it was one of the best dreams I've had in a while

I had a dream that the earth was hit by a giant asteroid that literally broke it into two pieces - the one side didn't survive, it was where the earth was hit and it flew off into space. All the survivors had to try to "fix" the earth by going and getting that side and using the dirt and suchlike to stack on to the other.

It was quite horrifying, actually. Felt really real.

And in other news, it completely disgusts me how people are responding to the results of the midterm elections. I have never seen more people be angry that our current governor (Scott Walker) got re-elected. Personally, even though I don't agree with him, I didn't trust the person who was running against him as far as I could throw her. Something about her unsettled me greatly.

I hate politics. Can't we all just get along and eat pizza and chill out together and have a beer? Maybe some cake, too?

Unless the cake is a lie...

Ah Wisconsin eh? Well, for however many angry people there are, there are even more who elected him back in. So the angry people must be silly. Here in Colorado, governor John Hickenlooper also got reelected.

Yes, Wisconsin. It's an interesting place to live because both political parties have a huge presence and it's always the undecided voters that swing the election results in either direction. Lately it's been quite the red state, and while I tend to agree more with the blue side of the political spectrum, I'm not about to hate all the people on the red side. I actually really like and admire Paul Ryan. You probably won't believe this but I've sold him wine at the grocery store I work at (Schnucks in Janesville, where Paul Ryan is from and goes home to every so often). He's always really friendly and very approachable and even asked me if I had a wine to recommend. I told him I didn't drink too much wine but one that I did like was an Italia Roscato we carry. I can't remember if he actually bought it though.

Entity component frameworks are awesome, but there's a lot of this in my code (one of the more extreme examples):

Or when processing entities, here's another example of getting the camera Y angle:

I don't really want to be less explicit. I could merge SystemManager into world, which would at least eliminate one getter:

My code seems a lot more "bloated" now... Then again, it's very structured so that's ok.
