It was the best conclusion of a two parter in the new Dr Who so far.

However, I regret that I still found it lacking. There were more plot holes than there were holes between the different universes.

But at least Rose and all her ghastly family have gone for good.

The special effects were mostly good, although the firing from the Cybermen was a bit dodgy. And plenty of action. And Rose has gone - finally.

Looking forward to the Christmas edition now And then a new series.

Has the BBC confirmed a 4th series yet ?

Overall, its been a pretty good series : The SFX has mostly been very good, and all but 2 episodes were good. Hopefully we'll start seeing new planets instead of basing it all on Earth.

Lol, yeah I was about to say the same thing.

It was a nice ending, but it wasn't particularly moving. It should have been done alot better. The first 40 minutes were brilliant though.

Well duh. It's science fiction/fantasy. It's not supposed to be real. However, I agree that some of the "scientific" explanations are, well, completely naff actually. I can't defend them no matter how much I try. They're either poorly explained or just plain stupid. But that doesn't stop the series from being one of the few TV shows at the moment that I'd go out of my way to watch.

I'm not sure I really liked the idea of witty repartee with Daleks. They aren't supposed to be Oscar Wilde. They are supposed to be 2 dimensional - that is their charm.

Perhaps RTD can now stop trying to turn Dr Who into EastEnders + Aliens and now we can get back to some good old fashioned sci-fi adventure.

Leaving Earth occasionally would be a plus as well.

PS: I was right about the Genesis Ark being packed with pizza deliverers. Spooky, no?

Unfortunately, these deliverers would kill you no matter how large a tip you leave.

My favoruite Dalek Dirty Talk was the one about pest control (something like "This isn't extermination, this is pest control!").

Not a bad ending to the series. I was wondering why that place was called "badwolf bay" and sounded like Dalek. Was expecting the one that time shifted to rise out the sand and exterminate her.

The badwolf thing has been a persistant theme with Rose. It's popped up all the time.

Bad Wolf if anything has been more commonly mentioned than Torchwood. I doubt that was the end of the Bad Wolf references, but I can't imagine how they'd continue it.

I don't see why they need to continue using Bad Wolf referenced being as it has been explained ages ago.

It wasn't much of a battle. The Cybermen were way too puny for the Daleks. I would like to see Rose get put in a Dalek body so that she cannot survive outside of it. Then she slowly goes mad, and becomes the most sinister Dalek due to her knowledge of the Doctor. That would be a good two parter.

@Pincho

What? Are you sick or something?

Honestly! What a horrible thought. You need more pizza and a good night's sleep my man.

@All

After Dr. Who I watched the film "An ideal husband" starring Rupert Everett and Cate Blanchett. I have to say I enjoyed it considerably more than the Dr. Who episode, and I never thought I'd enjoy some Oscar Wilde humbug more than Dr Who humbug. That says all you need to know about the comparative merits of Daleks trying to be witty and Oscar Wilde actually being witty.

EMail the BBC and complain... Might as well make them earn their money.

Do you mean scary as in "Bill Gates in a thong" type scary, or more "Rose in a Dalek" type scary?

Scary like......
The Leader Of The Daleks:

The Daleks run away when a new Alien Form attacks them!!! They join forces with the Doctor when the New Alien attacks the Earth. The Doctor upgrades the Daleks so that they can beat this new thing. Then the Daleks turn their upgrades against the Earth themselves. The Doctor realises his mistake, but Earth calls him a traitor, the leader of the Daleks. The Daleks leave, happy that they have ruined the Doctors good reputation.
