Sounds very bizzare. How do you cover a city with a wartorn city exactly "

Well, it was covered by dirt and ash, so they built a new city to be destoyed. Im trying to combine horror, sci-fi and all out war.

By the way, just got my copy! Its worth every penny, and i truly believe because of it, more people will have professional looking games! One of the best $25 ive spent. Well worth it..

In this thread
GraveDanger-My Long term project
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=112586&b=25

Disturbing 13 outlines a technique
Walls and ceilings were created in a milkshape as one model and imported as a single segment. Floors were done individually though to avoid collision bugs

I have a similar technique for a project I have, only mine will use flat planes (flat sheets) for everything bar the floor, which will be regular segments,
In fact I think Disturbing 13 is using exactly the same only we use different programs to make our levels with.

Will Buttercutter work with levels built like this, or does it require a closed mesh with depth to its walls?

Butter fingers,

Your reply is appreciated. What kind of turnaround time should I expect? As of this post, I haven't received any emails.

Thanks,

FallenOne.

Yes and no. It will work, in that it will cut the segment where you place the cutter, but if you have made your segment walls only 1 plain, then the wall you cut will have no depth.

I don't want to sound off hand, but this is not really my problem. Optimising your segment walls by reducing them to one plain, is kind of a fiddle from the FPSC standard, and not something many people are doing, therefore I didn't really account for that in ButterCutter.

Aside from that, I would assume that if you are modelling your level as chunks, and importing them as segments, it would be much to your benefit to create the holes in your modelling program, as opposed to using BC.

SethBlack.
I'm sorry that this page got overcrowded with childish piracy stuff, on the previous page I did ask customers to kindly give it a few days before sending receipts, or "where is it?" emails.

I'll have it off to you by the end of play tomorrow.

Yes, I expect he will, but if people pay for items that are advertised, then they should get the product within 24 hrs surely?

I will await his reponse, hopefully today........

They should normally get the product in the advertised or promised time given by the vendor. This was right under the button you clicked when you placed the order.

Quote: "IMPORTANT NOTE : All orders are processed by hand. Please allow a few days for delivery.
Additionally, please refrain from forwarding your paypal receipt to us. It only clogs our inbox, and makes it harder for us to work efficiently.

If you have received no notification for 2 days then please do get in touch, but not before then.

There are only 2 of us here at the moment, and unfortunately we do have to sleep!
"

From experience with PayPal, I know that it depends on a few variables as to how fast they record and send the payment notification to the vendor. That could hold you up for a day no problem.

From experience with Butters, I know that he is busy and can become invisible at will (kind of a shape-shifter thing) but he always gets back to you in good time.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Not really. Game creators model packs take up to 48 hours to arrive, and they won't process or send over the weekend.

I did look into instant distribution, but it would have bumped up the cost.

for a hole in the floor you could make a special floor entity (100x100) with a hole in it then change it's texture accordingly... It wouldn't have to use GSC.
