Yes, I envy graphic artists very much, because their interfaces never change with the times... they're just expected to put in more polygons and use higher definition textures with shader effects.

Being a programmer is rough in this industry, though. Always being expected to learn a new syntax everytime some obsessive lout claims his language is superior to the others. And there's the fact that companies all use different languages! Bleh, why did I ever choose to be a programmer? Sometimes I wonder.

Then again I do post 1 million times a day
practice makes perfect

All the guys from the DBC challenges would be on my list, but a lot of them aren't that well known. I usually keep to the DBC boards.

The one-on-one thread we still have over the weekend to finish that, just been a little distracted really.

Can't actually remember the last time I posted a screenshot of anything on this forum itself, probably been about 2years. Still if you're really that desperate to see some recent stuff I've done then just checkout my blog.

lol - I still remember Randi. One of the few women on the forum. Also the one who posted up an avatar of her in her underwear, then complained about too much unwanted male attention.

Lol, I remember that thread! Good times, good times. Now this forum has become nothing but an over-whelming mass of testosterone.

I tried to help get him a job there a few years back. My best friend is a senior artist there. I forwarded a bunch of Titan's stuff to him. At the time, it did not work out. I guess he kept trying. I'll have to ask my friend if he works with him much!

Walaber is one of the nicest dudes on this forum back in the day. He was one of the biggest fans of my WordTrix games and offered a lot of constructive feedback

TheBigBabou -- Haven't seen him around in a long time, but he was kind enough to design the logo for Automaton Games, and it was a really professional job at that. I love that about this community-- people offering to do stuff for free.

Megaton as well--- he freely did the template for my personal site where I have my (weak) online portfolio. Plus he helped me out a bit with the automatongames.com website.

I wonder if they're related somehow. That's only two instances where I've ever heard that last name, hehe.

How did you figure it out? I haven't done any acting on the forums yet, so I assumed my secret was safe. Oh well, I guess you all know I'm Ben Affleck now. Anyone see Gigli? Best movie ever.

Quote: "3111 Forum Messages/ 154 Forum Threads "

And what's sad is, I tapered off in the last few months with so much stuff going on, and still I have over 150 threads. Depressing really. I'm wondering how I ever get games finished, lol.

Edit: Hmm, I wonder how many of my 3,111 posts consisted of less than three paragraphs?

They should let you increase your avatar size by 1 pixel every 100 posts. Then I would have a bad ass 140x140 pic of my grinning face.

Once you hit 10k your account is upgraded to a flashing pink username.

That should separate the regz from the newbz. The forums would then plunge into elitism, the ANJL becomes a supremacist group, and everyone who joined after 2005 would be charged a $1.50 per post via automatic bank withdrawal.

Personally I tend to spend about a minute or so, sometimes up to 15minutes on a single post. So heh wildly inaccurate the amount of time i've spent posting.
