Oooh, this thread has turned into another post count thread!

If I recall correctly last time we had one of these I had the second lowest post count out of all the people that posted (when you take join date into consideration). I've been posting more lately than usual though, so I doubt I would still hold that position.

With me being the lowest. I can proudly say that, probably, I'm still the lowest poster here:

273 Forum Messages and 8 Forum Threads in nearly 5 years here.

No surprise no one mentions me . At least I've finished some of my projects .

Possible, but don't hold your breath.

p.s. your evil plan to make me increase my post count, by answering you, will not work.

I hope you're not implying that I've left, I am but merely operating under another guise! Although, I've probably posted less than a post a week for the past year or so. Definitely used to post a lot more a couple years ago, but now I'm way too busy... On a similar note though, I have recently been considering bringing the old sig back into action.

Ok--- maybe I'm remembering way back when Rich posted the top 20 or so posters on the forums. I was somewhere around the bottom. I forgot that we have many newer mods over the years

----

Maybe we should just list the most well known members who have actually made a game, plugin or app and posted it to the announcements forum? That would shorten the list quite a bit

HA! I HAVE A LIFE, YOU SEE?!?!

And I qualify for having made games and released in the announcements board, as well as appeared in the Newsletter twice, once with an article... I'm hoping I'll get a 3rd mention soon...

ONE DAY I SHALL BE ON THE COVER.

The real problem with this kind of thread is that if you're here long enough, you find so many people you consider well known. I guess the real challenge is to stand out enough that someone remembers you when they think of who they know well.

Yeah, as somebody else mentioned early on, there's been various active characters over the years. But there's only a handful that have remained active. Anyway, nostalgia is fun

I guess that should be corrected to 249.

Considering the join date I'm boasting (seriously), I do believe that makes me the member with the least posts. (RGT was a different story, I believe I was nearing 500 within a 3 month time frame)

So we'd have a thread like:
"Syntax Error: Command not recognized"

I have a problem, I got a syntax error in the following code:

Hmm... who has released the most games, and what's the average number of games released per person/ team on TGC? It would be neat if we had some way to figure that out, hehe. I have three games released so far, so I'm probably near the bottom of that list. But some people don't have any games released, so it's not all that bad, hehe.

So it's quantity over quality is it? I have released two games... and wiped three. I'd think the most known have the BEST games, not the most.

We all know who's on that list...

Cash
zzz
Bizar
Gil
tha_rami

ect

Maybe we should have a beauty contest? Or stand up comedy... who is the funniest, you think?

I win the beauty contest hands down, heres a recent photo shoot I did http://www.cineclick.com.br/lancamentos/img_dvd/img_dvd_01072005supermonkey.jpg.
I should also win the prize for the person to contribute the least, being as though I've been a member 5 years and contributed nothing .

wouldnt post count and new threads statistics mean more if the length of time the user was member were factored in?

I think this suggests an entirely new round of investigation...

wooooo, I'm on the best games list!!!

Dream will be my second competed game, though if I include games that made it to a somewhat finished game form I've got 7-9 (as in totally playable demos). It seems silly to post the number of half finished game engines I have though... And most everything I've done has either been a platformer or a puzzle game. One or two were a mix of both.

I really wanna see Vans finished games. I've seen a few, and at least one wip, and they were all amazing.

Anyone people seem to be wandering away from the original idea. Maybe we should change to topic to best game, or best contribution, or most posted, or most n00bish?

Cheers Bizar, my games are all over the place, keep meaning to get them all in a website, maybe even update them a little to get rid of bugs etc but never gotten round to it. I might get links setup in my sig for them though, website design has never been something I enjoy.
