Yeah, Inspire's right. Look on fps-files.com in Model Packs. You'll find 'em.

***BUMP***

I am having some trouble making an office area in FPSC. If anyone has saved some pictures that are in an office in DFII, then you could email them to me.

The pictures do not work when I try to see them in the DFII thread(s). If this may seem OT, then I'll see if I can email Dave himself.

If you want to email me some pics, then mail them to: spyman1_9@msn.com.

EDIT: I don't think one could put pics of another FPSC game on my thread, so I narrowed it down to just email, for the sake of the AUP.

You want pictures of another FPSC game to base your FPSC game on? Lets face it, FPSC is limited...originality is what makes FPSC games stand out in the crowd (look at the work of Rolfy or Disturbing13)...yet you want to make a game that looks oh-so-similar to another? Not even that, you want pictures of that game to make your game?

"DFII fangame"?

No, it's not like a direct copy of DFII; far from it. It's not even a fan-game.

All I want is a few pics of the office from DFII just to see what an office area looks like, that's all. Besides, his pics looked cool, and I can't see them anymore.

I'll see if I can make an office in FPSC; and not just any office, [whisper] a corporate office, y'know, with the cafes and visitor centers [/whisper].

I did that, and I found a nice-looking office space! I will begin production on Flynn Corporate Offices, and post pics while production goes along! Thank you, Internet!

Oh, and I have changed the crosshairs around for a more "not stock-MP6" feel.

Okay!

I have finished one of the office rooms for the level 1: Office Complex. Here is a pic. Notice the changed Shorty crosshair.

Also, I have shaders on full to make the game look nicer. Enjoy, and please rate x/10!

PS: It looks similar to the CIA level in Splinter Cell, doesn't it?

Oh, and what should be outside the door over on the right (you cannot see it)? A hallway, a hallway leading to a mantienance (?) corridor, what?

EDIT: darimc, we posted at the same time. Thanks for the rating.

I have deleted that other map due to me not liking the way it ran (lagged a lot).

I may not be using FPSC until the new year because of vacation time. So, hope you all have had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

PS: Thanks for the bump, Duplex.

It's the inovater's Small Camera in his camera pack. Heck, you're lucky I didn't put an oversized toaster-with-a-lens in that pic!

I wanna wait for an inspiration to hit me for the Flynn Corporate Offices.

Off-Topic: I got Hisory Channel: Civil War for the computer for Christmas yesterday. What would your views on it be? I'm only 1/4 through the game's 12 levels.

How do I scale objects?

Oh, and I have a brand new update!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATE
Failure to Cooperate is not dead. After viewing a bit of Reservior Dogs my dad got for Christmas, I've got a new idea for level 1: a back alley/warehouse. I think MP3 media would look nice in an industrial environment, eh?
I may have a new story up by tomorrow. Until then, stay tuned! (but you'll probably switch to channel 5: Demon Sun, anyway)
You can scale, by importing the .x to milkshape, making it a bit smaller, then exporting that object (with fixed UV data) back out to the original folders. You can still use the same .fpe I'm pretty sure.
Hopsing45, I sort of agree. I didn't know what he was talking about. Oh well, that's that.
I am having a bug in my game(s); whenever I kill MAKO's SWAT character and it has the leavecorspe.fpi destroy script, he looks like what it says in the attached. NOTE: This screen is not for the faint of heart. It looks odd, trust me.
I've got the game's official story:
On March 19th, a fatal shooting between a SWAT team member, Vincent Clarke (the player) and the Waterfront Gang occured. 14 gangsters died; Clarke substained rifle bullets and shotgun shells to the chest and head area, thanks to some armor.
Resigning from the SWAT and becoming a mormal civillian, Clarke vowed that he would get his revenge, due to the team failing to show up due to injuries from a previous operation. But would his revenge cost him the lives of his former squadmates, the army, and even his own? Someday, death will occur. Death will descend upon others, preferably the Waterfront gangsters. I am Vincent Robert Clarke. This...is my life.
I edited it, thank you again, Paul112 for the input.
I hate to nit-pick, but Im a bit of a perfectionist...
Quote: "On March 19th, a fatal shooting between a SWAT team member, Vincent Clarke (the player) and the Waterfront Gang occured."
Sounds good...but SWAT members aren't dispatched alone...especially not to deal with a big gang.
Quote: "14 gangsters died; Clarke substained wounds to the chest and head area."
One hell of a shot...
Quote: "Resigning from the SWAT and becoming a mormal civillian, Clarke vowed that he would get his revenge."
What's he wanting revenge for? A head injury? I'd say it was more than a good deal to still be alive after killing off 14 gangsters single-handedly...
Unless he wants revenge because he got kicked out of the SWAT...but why would that happen if he was doing his job and dealing with some armed gangsters?
Quote: "But would his revenge cost him the lives of his former squadmates, the army, and even his own?"
Now I'm really confused...who does he want revenge on?
Quote: "Someday, death will occur. Please not be today; today, death will descend upon others. Preferably the Waterfront gangsters. I am Vincent Robert Clarke. This...is my life."
The first bit of that doesn't seem to make sense to me. How about changing that little bit to:
"Death will descend upon others. The Waterfront gangsters will pay. I am Vincent Robert Clarke. This...is my revenge."
It's sounding alright if you can fix those flaws.
Best,
Paul
@ Paul112: I could edit the story.
1. The SWAT team had around 30 officers in the hospital after an attempt to thwart a bank robbery. The robbers got away.
2. Clarke was wearing armor, obviously.
3. See, the injuries had caused him to almost die because the guns that the gangsters were using were assault rifles and shotguns.
4. He wants revenge on the SWAT because they failed to show up to assist Clarke. Bad mistake, mister.
5. OK, I'll change that.
Thanks for the critism.
EDIT: Also, the gangsters don't take kindly to strangers (with weapons) on their turf, but they take Clarke in because his home was burned by an unnamed arsonist earlier in the game (before the game's intro).
Bump, with a new screen!
Ignore the blood stains; I was testing how enemies use waypoints. Apparently the receptionist walked instead of the security guard.
Also, how do I get custom civillian characters? Which free-content sites have something like that? And a receptionist sitting in a chair, typing on her PC, that'd be...odd. Like it that DFII video, some guy waiting, another typing at his PC, etc.
EDIT: I forgot the pic...oh no.
@ Inspire: Nah, animating wouldn't be my thing. Takes up too much time, I heard.
I forgot; FtC is set in the near future, like in 2010-2025. I'll set it during 2017-2019 (two years).
Thats your problem. You want to make a game really fast, you gotta put time and effort into it. Sure animating takes long, but I'm sure its worth it. (I've never animated, had no need too)
