I just deleted a post that would incite a political flame war. Please don't post your screenshots if they're offensive i.e. use your better judgement.

That's fine, so long as your desktop isn't an image of that mouthbreather Carlos Tevez, lol. I still have yet to see him with his mouth closed

Mine hasn't changed at all since the last few times we've done this, lol. The only different whatsoever is that now I have a "2009 TAC" folder in the upper right corner next to the FPSC shortcut. I like keeping it simple and it's rare that I change my background, hehe. When we get a cool Redemption 9mm wallpaper I'll start using that

I'd post images of Rooney and Tevez here for comparison, but posting them both in the same thread is equivalent to crossing Ghostbuster beams. But Rooney in the Gamba Osaka match of the FIFA club world cup... holy [expletive]! It was 2-0, then Rooney shows up and the game ends 5-3? What?!? He's on the pitch 20 minutes and he almost gets a hat trick! Who knew orangutans were so talented? I'd pick on an Arsenal player to be fair, but Jens Lehmann is gone so it isn't easy anymore. Though I'm convinced his replacement, Almunia, is actually Peter Stromare in disguise. Am I the only person who sees the resemblance?

[Attached - too big to link with img tags]

Haven't changed my background in a while, I like my current image. Need to sort out all the folders on it though. I have developed the bad habit of temporally downloading stuff directly to my desktop, then forgetting to delete it when I no longer need it.

RalphY, I had the same background as you for a while! Keep up the good work.

I cover my own desktop with games that I've made, hoping that some bored guest will click on them. Oh, and I don't normally have obnoxious anime backgrounds.

It's actually the free version of ObjectDock with the included "Vector Cell: Black" background.
http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/

The theme is "NEXTLevel AT" found here:
http://vathanx.deviantart.com/art/NEXTLevel-71347045

The background I grabbed from a Mac, it's called "Aqua Blue". Not sure if I should attach a copy of it....found this on google:
http://macnugget.org/stuff/Aqua Blue.jpg (can't link it)

[EDIT] It seems he has NEXTLevel skins for RocketDock and ObjectDock now.

Threads like this always end up with someone noticing a torrent program on someones screenshot, or an embarrassing folder and then an argument ensues.

Nevertheless i'll jump on the bandwagon aswell.

EDIT: why does everyone seem to keep files on the desktop and not just link them to somewhere else? It seems like bad practice to store projects and things on the desktop.

I've been on my new Mac for the past few days trying to figure out iPhone programming with the horrendous Objective C.

Anyone know how to take screenshots in this foreign OS?

Or shift command(Apple) and 4 will let you control where you take the screenshot.
And when you're in Shift Command 4 press space and you can take screenshot of just one app's window.
