level 1 sounds good, although it's basically a tutorial told through gameplay. the real game starts at level 2.

Yeah shadows from uplighters really looks strange, I would personally use a combo of dynamic/static lighting with them (maybe even make the ceiling panels dynamic, so they receive no shadow?).
Also I would use self illumination on them lights and the streetlights below :p

That's fine for spot lights and making fake light rays, but would cause a harsh light circle edge on the ceiling above the uplighters (IMHO), also requiring two lights for each uplighter (one above/one below)

Setting the uplighters as dynamic would be better to be honest, as then the light mapper would just act as if they were not there and you would get a better softer edged light circle above.

Maby it's just me, but in the latest screenie, where you have the small fence on the way back there, it seems like the world would just end there. Maby put some billboard buildings or so there. I would maby also suggest some overlays on the streets, becouse they look a tad empty. And is it just me, or do the machinegun and the pistol have different glove textures?

Other than that, it looks very good

I'm using addictinit's road pack. and also, I tried to fix the end of world cisibility under the buss, but I also want to keep polycount down. already it's spiking with enemies into the 79000-81000 range, so I need to keep that in mind for my minimum spec machine-

single core 2.4 ghz
1gb RAM
geforce 8600gt

which I want to run the game at a minimum of 20 FPS at any time.

but 2gb is the maximum FPSC supports, so I'm going half that.

never does my game go above 80,000 polys with enemies on screen. I fixed level 6 to be the way I want.

no, they won't, but I use quick lighting in my builds for less RAM usage as I only have 2GB. I can't use billboards.

and if I could edit the skybox, believe me I would, but I don't know how. I'm terrible with photoshop.

Here is an edited version of the stock "Cty" skybox that I made when I 1st got FPSC. It's just a kind of night version, but it may fit better with your city scene and hide the open ends to your map?

I know it's pretty poop, but I still use it at times

Very nice bugsy.

Just a quick note : on the second screen on this page , the building with the brick texture (and on the 1st) and all the windows looks a tad small to me.Might want to scale it up a bit?

You know,I was just going to suggest you re-do the UV-map.That way you wont need to redesign the map(more space needed).

Though I'm pretty sure it wont get messed up if you edit the .fpe's scale =

yeah, that building is facign another building and fits precisely into that spot, so I don't think I can. it's a dark city building probably best for backgrounds but it was low poly so I used it.
